Review: On 12/*/13, D & D agreed to fix/change the left rear wheel seal on my [redacted] semi truck.This job was not done properly in that D & D mechanic left old damaged bearings inside the wheel that should have been replaced since the bearings is what created the problems in the wheel seal in the beginning which was an oil leak. If the bearings had been replaced as the job called for, I would not had additional problems. Because this job was not done correctly, within two days AND while I'm still on the road, the oil leak started again.
On 12/*/13, I contacted D & D and informed him of the problem as I was en-route back through [redacted], TX. He agreed to fix the problem but as I got closer to his business and tried contacting him, he refused to answer his phone and to-date has not made any effort to correct or compensate me for this problem. As as result, I had to go to another shop that cost me even more to fix this problem because I now have more damages.Desired Settlement: D & D Invoice #[redacted] shows a total charge of $531.30 that I paid in full and I expect/desire a full refund of.

Have not refused to check the truck #[redacted] I simply explained to the drive of truck #[redacted] if he would just bring the truck back into the my shop I would check it out However the driver of truck refuse to do so I [redacted] also explained to the driver that he had metal shoving inside of hub. I try to replaced bearrings hub gear oil but once again driver refused ask if may get an invoice or receipt the shop that fixed truck #[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
D&D has not and did not address the problems with my truck. To date, he has still not contacted me. I am attaching his invoice showing the amount he charge me and also an invoice from [redacted] (the business where final repairs were made) indicating the amount I paid to have the problem fixed by [redacted]. Please note the comments made by [redacted] concerning the damages and reasons for the damages on page 3 of that invoice. Thanks you for your assistance in holding D&D accountable for their negligence.

I [redacted] with D&D Tire Diesel Shop had truck #[redacted] in my shop for a seal replacement. We replaced rear passenger seal on truck #[redacted]. My employee noticed that truck #[redacted] had metal shavings inside hub. I noticed advised the driver of truck #[redacted] that he should replace hub but he refused to do so.
Driver to truck #[redacted] took the truck #[redacted] to [redacted]. According to the invoice of [redacted] the truck #[redacted] went in for a seal, however it was a different seal and on the opposite side! [redacted] replaced seal on drive axle of truck #[redacted]. D&D replaced seal on passenger side.

This issue is still not resolved. [redacted]'s claim that this was a different seal and on the opposite side of the vehicle that [redacted] worked on is not true. [redacted] worked on the same seal as D&D caused extensive damages to.
