Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/04/06) */
o whom it may concern,
In reference to the complaint listed, we appreciate the opportunity to respond and regret that Mrs [redacted] has had a bad experience.
Mrs [redacted] did in fact sign up and agree to attend as a vendor to the shows she...

requested. As part of this agreement, it was clearly stated that no refunds would be offered if a vendor decided to cancel, had a conflict, or if there was a weather related incident that caused closure of the event. This is standard practice in this industry as there is a lot of time that goes into planning these events, as well as advertising fees, site fees, electric and water fees and fees for cleanup afterward.
Mrs [redacted] became upset after I elicited a response from her in regards to a question. When she failed to answer in a timely matter, she was removed from the group. This is also standard practice as there has been a waiting list for other vendors who would like to attend these scheduled shows. If Mrs [redacted] would have replied timely, this could have been avoided. Even so, I generally give a vendor an opportunity to contact me and either apologize for their delay or explain what caused the delay. Instead, Mrs [redacted] became irate and began threatening lawsuits and other legal action.
It was at that time Mrs [redacted] requested a refund for her shows. In an attempt to save face and appease Mrs [redacted], I offered her a refund through PayPal. After sending the refund I received notification that she refused the payment and returned it with a note demanding that I send the payment via friends and family. Per PayPal policy and procedure, this type of payment violates their policies if I would have sent the payment as she requested. Therefore, no refund has been resubmitted.
As for Mrs [redacted]'s accusation of requesting payments through family and friends via PayPal, I am very cautious as to how I request my payments. PayPal offers superior protection to not only customers but those receiving funds through PayPal. In doing so, they have set guidelines that need to be abided by in order to offer this level of protection. At no time have I ever required a vendor send a payment that goes against PayPals policy. If a vendor decides upon themselves to send payment via friends and family, then they understand that the prescribed level of protection is no longer available and effective.
This matter with Mrs [redacted] has become out of control. She has sent multiple complaints, threatened several of my members and administration with legal actions, caused people to leave my group because of what she has written on her personal and business page, and has caused great stress and anxiety amongst me and several other individuals affected by her antics.
Neither me nor any of my acting agents will offer a subsequent refund to Mrs [redacted]. From this point forward, all inquires and contacts from Mrs [redacted] or her constituents, will be forwarded to an attorney of our choosing. Her behavior and the manner to which she has handled this situation, one caused by her own failures in notice of the guidelines and policies, will not be tolerated. I run a very noble and honest business and this situation with Mrs [redacted] has threatened to damage my reputation.
Again, I appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and regrettably apologize that a resolution could not be reached with Mrs [redacted].
Sincerely,
Mary J[redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/04/07) */
[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
In response to Ms. J[redacted]'s statement "If Mrs [redacted] would have replied timely, this could have been avoided. Even so, I generally give a vendor an opportunity to contact me and either apologize for their delay or explain what caused the delay" - Ms. J[redacted] gave me TWO (2) HOURS to respond to a message in the middle of the day when I was taking care of business items while preparing for a surgery 4 days later (which Ms. J[redacted] was well aware of).
At no time, has this issue or Ms. J[redacted] been discussed on my business page. I did post our conversation on my private page after enduring two weeks of Ms. J[redacted]'s public bashing of myself and another crafter. During those two weeks, Ms. J[redacted] posted my financial information publicly, discussed with other members how to "get even" with me, and let it be known that anyone else who dared to cross her would receive the same treatment. I have attached a copy of the paypal Ms. J[redacted] sent me with a comment that clearly shows Ms. J[redacted]'s level of professionalism. (see attached documents)
No member of that group nor was the other admin ever threatened with anything. I stated to the other admin that it was a shame that Ms. J[redacted] had left her "holding the bag" and because of that, she would be a witness in any further action in this case.
The only "issue" was the fact that I personally unfriended Ms J[redacted] (and over 300 other people that same morning) and she kicked me out of the group - our entire conversation is attached below. You can clearly see Ms. J[redacted] state the reason for kicking me out (unfriending and didn't respond within 2 hours to her message), to BEGGING me to rejoin the group, to stating that I would get a refund (by her co-admin).
Also in that document are screenshots of the public bashing she did on her private page as well as the group page. The reason people left her group was because of all the posts she was making about me and the other vendors, as well as her "there's a refund" and then when someone asked for it, she kicked them out and publicly bashed them as well. (This is what happened to the third crafter - she asked for a refund and Ms. J[redacted] went off on her, accusing her of being in a league with me, nevermind that the gal didn't even know who I was at the time. She did contact me after this to let me know what was said)
The second document are posts that Ms. J[redacted] has made posting my personal information, as well as plans to find a way to shut down my accounts. These posts are why people left her group and why people are staying out of fear of losing their money.
Ms. J[redacted] (in the second person's case) flat out LIED to paypal, stating that she had given items to [redacted] for the money that [redacted] sent, despite that the receipts all clearly stated that it was for craft shows. She attempted to lie in third case to paypal, but paypal did rule against Ms J[redacted] and refunded that crafter's money to her.
While it is accepted that there are no refunds if a crafter does not show up, that does not extend to an organizer who takes money, then blocks the crafter from being able to attend an event. If that were the case, then Ms. J[redacted] could sell the same spaces 10 times and then kick 9 vendors out of the group and keep their money . . an act which would clearly constitute fraud on the behalf of the organizer. Given that our spots have been resold - at a higher fee - Ms. J[redacted]'s "expenses" are still covered and she's benefitting from double selling spots for her shows, showing a clear and willing intent to defraud people out of their money. The fees for her events are between $25 to $40 per vendor times 80 vendors equals $2,000.00 to $3,200.00 per show and she has six (6) shows scheduled so far this year. The rental fee for the venue is $100 and the only advertising she does is by sharing facebook posts for free, netting her a profit of $1,900.00 to $3,200.00 per show, totaling over $10,000.00 this year alone. That figure does not include money collected from vendors she kicks out of the group and resells their spots.
Ms. J[redacted] has made a lot of false statements and claims in her response, yet she does not provide one document to back her up. I have submitted numerous documents to show that my claims are valid and true.

IF Ms. J[redacted] does not refund my money, then I will be setting up at her craft shows. I have my receipts and copies of my applications as proof. Ms. J[redacted] is the one who unilaterally decided to remove me from these events, and to block my ability to contact her. Ms. J[redacted] posted twice that she would refund any crafter's money So either I receive my full refund of $70 by cashier's check or money order (so that I am not dealing with her disputing a paypal refund in a few months) or I will be attending all the shows I paid for. If Ms. J[redacted] does retain an attorney, s/he is welcome to contact me to resolve this issue, as I look forward to dealing with someone who actually is professional.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/06/28) */
I have turned this complaint over to my attorney . The accusations from [redacted] are false. Who's business is it as to how much money I am making and the figure she gives is absurd, I should not have to answer to anyone for making a...

living , although she should have tried to figure out what my expenses are etc..the complaint that she wants a refund for shows signed up for is not valid, as she was never told she could not do my shows and therefore according to my refund policy she is not entailed to a refund. There are 6 women that are trying to ruin me and my reputation - these cases are also being handled by my attorney and most have been closed and ruled in my favor. I do not have a business name, nor need a license to simply run a Facebook group that also gives the member's a chance to sell there items at different parks, venues etc... I pay my taxes just like I hope she does as she does craft fairs all the time , what I do with my taxes is my personal affairs and not for public access, just like her or anyone else ! This has to be stopped as these complaints are bogus and filled with nothing but jealousy , where she states she recently found out ,,, about my affairs... I would like to know where she thinks she received such creditable information ? Here say from the other women she jumped on the bandwagon with ! I am filling a complaint with the Revdex.com today against her and I am hoping this nonsense stops from her - she has slandered me in public forms, has used fake facebook accounts to stalk my groups and I have at least 15 messages from others to prove what she is doing, if this does not cease, she will find herself in court, I don't have time to play there childless games and I will see to it with the help of about 60 others from my group that have already stated to me in writing that they are ready to back me in court! This is a waste of my time and the Revdex.com as I am sure you have real valid cases to deal with. Sincerely , [redacted]
