D&D's Impressive Auto Collision Reviews (13)

DEAR [redacted]: On 2/**/16 [redacted] had his vehicle towed to our facility. One of our managers spoke to him and advised him of all of his rights in using us or another shop of his choice....

He decided to allow us to repair his vehicle. [redacted] signed all of the paperwork and informed his insurance company that he was going forward with us to repair his vehicle. [redacted] came back to our location days later wanting to release his vehicle. we explained he can pay for it now with a credit card or cash. He responded by saying his insurance company will pay for the charges. It's our company policy that the 3rd party payer is required to pay cash because if the check is rejected or if they stop payment on the credit card then there is no recourse for us in court to go after the stopped check or credit card due to the fact that they are not the registered owner of the vehicle. That's why the owner was recommended to pay so this problem would be avoided. The car was released on Feb [redacted] 2016 and we believe there was no wrong doing and believe that the complaint should be dismissed. We are able to attach all of the signed documents upon request, showing that he agreed to the proper procedures. Thank you D&D's Impressive Auto Collision

This shop does amazing work, they treated my old daily driver Dodge Neon like a brand new Mercedes. The bodywork and paint finish was exceptional.

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by D&D's Impressive Auto Collision regarding complaint ID [redacted].
there has been no communication. Im very upset over the lack of professionalism from the business. I would not recommend them to anyone for future business. The complaints I made previously were obviously not taken serious, as I paid them for services that could've been handled smoother and faster. I am now out of $1200.

I reiterate, I hope this business gets an unfavorable rating regarding my recent dealings with them.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: D&DS IMPRESSIVE AUTO COLLISION INC [redacted] USDOT: [redacted] is holding my vehicle despite an agreement to release the vehicle to my autobody shop ([redacted] Autobody). I have provided a notarized document with a copy of my drivers license and instructions to release my vehicle. I have phones D&D at [redacted] and faxed a copy to them at [redacted] and provided a copy of the notarized document to brendans Autobody.

D&D will not release my vehicle and is charging me for storage. I am filing this complaint in hopes that this will expedite the release of my vehicle.Desired Settlement: I'd like them to release my vehicle to my autobody shop. My autobody shop is authorized to pay D&D for any fees incurred. I find the practice of D&D to not release my vehicle and charge me storage unacceptable and unprofessional.

Review: December 2012 my car was in an accident. My car was rendered undrivable and in need of significant repairs. Subsequently my car was towed by the local repair shop(D&D's impressive auto collision). After explaining the nature of the car accident to D&D, I was assured by the owner and his assistant that they would work on my case. they informed me that storage fees would be waives when payment for repairs were established. At the time they also let me know that because I would be working with the insurance company(Avis Budget Rental) of the person how damaged my vehicle, It would be a lenghty process. I patiently worked with this company for more than 3 months on this issue. during the 3 months, both the repair shop and the insurance company failed to communicate with each other and failed to communicate with me.I reahed out weekly to both. The investigation process should have been worked out between the two but I had to facilitate almost every interaction, doccument transaction and message relaying. I essentially forced to the to do their jobs. I would constantly get the run around, blame shifting, verbal abuse, insults and out refusals to cooperate from the repair shop's owner. Whenever I called the shop the assistant would tell me that she didn't have any updated information for me and that she would look into things and get back to me the same day. She never returned any of my phone calls. I always had to call her, only to get the same run around. Long story short, much time has passed and the shop conveiniently orders a lien on my car because it as there too long. they never mentioned this to be during any of the phone calls we had. but received a letter in the mail 3 days before the lien goes into effect asking for more than $7K. They requested that I pay for this in order to get my car($7k+).I called them on this. The owner was rude with me and hung up on me. at the same time they agreed that this was not my fault but shifted responsibility to me to remedy the situation.Desired Settlement: I cannot afford to pay lien fees, nor can I continue to wait another 3 months to get my car. I cannot continue to micro manage professionals who should be the experts of thier own professions. I cannot work with lack of communication, false pretences and lies. I expect the same quality of services from start to finish. I feel that requesting any out pocket from me expense is disrespectful, especially when all party have doccumented that this situation isn't my fault.

Review: My automobile (2007 Dodge Magnum) was towed to D&D after an accident. The tow truck driver raved about the great service I would receive if I selected D&D to work with insurance adjuster and repair the car. It seemed like a reputable place and although far from home I considered the convenience of leaving it with them. The insurance company itemized repairs which included paint. Upon picking up the car on a saturday, substandard paint job was noted & pointed out & worker & [redacted] agreed there was an issue - I was told directly by the [redacted] that paint crew is not available on weekends and that he would send someone to my home to pick up the car leave a loaner in its place - repair the paint flaw and swap the car back, that he would call me on a weekday. Also, in accordance with the insurance company's detailed list of work, a section requiring paint was not even painted at all. After 3 weeks of about 20 phone calls to which D&D never responded, I made my final call today and was told the same response I received on previous calls "let me tell my boss and have him call you back".Desired Settlement: Fix the paint job as promised by [redacted] who also stated all work is guaranteed for life.

In reference to complaint ID [redacted], once D&D, received notice of complaint the matter was rectified immediately. Review: My car got towed on May [redacted] give or take a day due to an accident. I was told better yet guaranteed by the tow truck driver [redacted] that I would not have to pay a dime out of my pocket. The person who hit my car their insurance only accepted 50% liability. I was told by the shop that they will boost up the price of the repairs so that I can get more money from the insurance company. They did a good job with that the appraisal came out to over $9,000. I could not afford to pay the other half that the insurance wasn't willing to pay. So I asked if I can take my car out of their lot this was in the end of June and the receptionist kept telling " I am going to talk to my boss and see what he can do". Here we are over two months and nothing has been resolved. The owner [redacted] refused to talk to me. And today July [redacted] I was forced to take my car out their lot and pay $3,200 storage- when I didn't ask for my car to just sit there. They didn't touch my car at all, extremely rude and unprofessional. I was threatened that they were going to put a lien on my car.I told [redacted] the office person that I was guarenteed and at the end lied to by the tow truck guy and her response "well that is his job".Really?Desired Settlement: I would like my money back so that I can take it to a more professional shop and have them earn the money. I was lied to from the moment that tow truck guy showed up at the scene of the accident

By the way this was a non-fault claim the insurance paid for everything so the job was supposed to be finished

Review: My radiator was replaced by D&D collision and 3months later the radiator was leaking, I took it to honda for a diagnostics and I was told the radiator was damaged, honda told me the would replace it because it was still under warranty due to the fact that It was a honda part and it was purchased 3months ago. But there was one problem the warranty was revoked because D&D mounted the radiator wrong so the warranty was voided! I contact the [redacted] and told him the situation he stated that he would come to honda and check it out and we would preceed from there, he never showed up so I called him a day later he then stated that he would tow my car too the shop and I would have to wait for them to get a new radiator. Long story short I paid honda $600 to put a new on in for me because clearly D&D had no idea what they were doing the first time!Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded at least half of my expenses due to the fact that [redacted] the mange admitted that they mounted it wrong!
