Zero stars if possible for the men's tux rental section.

Men getting married and renting a tux, BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. When you're planning a wedding, it's already stressful enough. But when a tux rental place COMPLETELY SCREWS UP your order and does very little to help you afterward, it's just horrible business.

This review is for a very unpleasant experience regarding my fiancé's tux, and my brother in law's tux involving Rich, the sales associate, working with male tux rentals. We placed the reservation for rental during the second week of May for our wedding in July. The pick up date stated on the receipt said June 28th, which already made me nervous because it was cutting it close to the wedding day on July 1st. If something went wrong, would they have enough time to fix it? Well guess what? INDEED SOMETHING WENT WRONG!

The tux that my fiancé received was completely different from what we ordered! Different style AND different color! I was there when we saw this gigantic error at the shop. According to Rich, he couldn't help us get what we originally wanted due to our wedding being 3 days away! Which didn't surprise me. However, when I asked him what went wrong, he told me, "You know I talk to 50 people everyday so I don't recall." I wanted to reply, "So do you forget everyone's order then?" What made this even worse is that when we originally ordered the tux, we asked him if the color was truly Navy Blue that we were going to get and the way Rich spoke, he stated that he would "definitely" give us the tux we ordered. Well Rich, we got something completely DIFFERENT 3 days before our wedding.

And the way he carried out his "customer service" was mortifying. He was incredibly defensive, and didn't own up to his mistake. To be fair, he showed us only TWO other tuxes that WERE available immediately however it was not what my fiancé wanted. With a heavy heart and running out of options, we went ahead and placed an order for a tux even if my fiancé was really not happy with it.

Rich called back the following day. At this point my fiancé and I had already PURCHASED a tux for him and his brother at another well known men's suit store. And the service there was spectacular when they found out our situation and how distraught we were with our wedding days away. Truly a breath of fresh air after a terrible experience with Rich at De La Rosa.

I work in customer service in its most extreme form, and I have gone above and beyond to serve people in my career. So to be treated the way we were involving our wedding day was truly a terrible experience. My fiancé and I worked through this disaster with another company and unfortunately we had to pay 9x more than we bargained for. But at least he was happier when we went elsewhere.
