On 9/20/17 our back office submitted his claims to [redacted]. On 9/30/17 [redacted] told our back office that his claims were declined because [redacted] was no longer active. I was notified by my back office on 10/2/17. I verified with [redacted] that he had no other insurance. On 10/2/17, we resubmitted it to...
[redacted]. They again declined it on 10/11/2017 stating that we need to resubmit the claims to [redacted] as they handle the claims. So, on 10/11/17 our back office submitted the claims to [redacted] stated that he had called [redacted] and they had no knowledge of our claim submission, I provided him with our verification numbers of when we had spoken to insurance. Then, on 10/23/2017 I contacted [redacted] and gave him all the information for [redacted] and let him know that we had submitted the claims there. I then followed up with [redacted] via phone to give him [redacted]s contact info, so that he could verify that we had submitted our claims. I then called [redacted] on 11/8/17, when [redacted] had paid out his claims, and left a message to let him know that we had been paid. I also left another follow message, however [redacted] has never returned our calls.I did explain to [redacted] that our back office does all the billing and they do it once a week on Wednesday's.[redacted]’s original careplan with us included an insurance portion of $565.00, of which we expected insurance to pay $540.00. However, insurance has and will only pay out $66.00. We have and will not ask for [redacted] to pay the difference of $474.00. So, truly we are losing $474.00.[redacted] states that we were billing him directly, which is correct, this is for the remaining careplan that we knew from the beginning would NOT be covered by insurance. We specifically break our careplan into an insurance portion (therapeutic) and a personal portion (corrective). His payments were for his personal portion. Unfortunately, his insurance company only covers therapeutic care and not corrective. I tried to explain this to [redacted], but without him coming into the office or returning my phone calls, I have not had the opportunity. Please contact me directly at [redacted] or [redacted]. The [email protected] had the Revdex.com email stuck in SPAM and I just randomly found it.
