We were told they were able to find a bank to fit our needs We test drove a car, and then were told they were unable to find a bank to meet our needs
What a disappointing experience!!!! We realize we don't have good credit, and the dealership was aware as well. We were approved for a Nissan at a different dealership, but wanted to look at the Forte's because it was around the same price. We called first and were told to come by. We were very clear about what we wanted and what we were quoted by the other dealership. After waiting 2 hours because they were "negotiating" with the banks, the salesman, [redacted], comes to us with 3 sets of keys and tells us that they were able to find a bank that would work with us, and was within our price range. He said he was going to show us these cars that will be in the price range we want. Because we knew exactly what we wanted, we asked specifically what the cars were and their cost... Oh, they were used and about 17k, the same price as the 2014 Forte. We told him if that was the price range anyway, we wanted the black forte. He said OK, we test drove it, and were extremely excited!!! While we were waiting for the paperwork, they started closing. About 20 minutes later, they told us they couldn't find a bank that would work with us.... Um... Then why did [redacted] come to us with three sets of keys to begin with and tell us they had good news??? Besides this entry, I'm filing with the Revdex.com and also contacting all the customer service managers, including the main Kia. What a horrible experience! I will never go there again!!!
