I saw two online adds listing a price of [redacted] vehicles. They refused to sell me the cars for the advertised prices.I saw online on Monday that Deacon Jones Kia was selling a [redacted] Stock [redacted] at a really low price. I used the contact form on the website to let the dealership know that I was interested in the vehicle. They replied back on Friday January 9 saying that they were not going to sell me the vehicle at that price. I saw another vehicle on their website and www.[redacted] advertised at a really low price. I emailed [redacted], and used their website contact form to tell them that I wanted the vehicle for the advertised sale price. Mr [redacted] called me at about 3:35 PM on Friday saying that he was not going to honor the advertised price, but he would sell it to me for about $20,000 which is $3,000 more than the listed MSRP. Mr. [redacted] said that I could come in and he could run my credit to see if I could afford the payments of the car which was $20,000, and higher than the advertised MSRP, and much higher than the advertised sale price. I even went back online, and saw that MR. [redacted] left both vehicles at the advertised price. I offered to buy both vehicles at the advertised price, and Mr. [redacted] said he refused to sell it to me at those prices. If they had no intention of selling the vehicles for the advertised prices, why didn't he immediately have it changed once I asked to buy it. Instead, 5 days later, it is still advertised at the price he refused to sell. Desired SettlementI would like to buy both cars, or similar cars for the advertised price. They are still listed on the websites, even 5 business days after I mentioned the first vehicle he wouldn't sell to me.Business Response I had several calls on these cars that were incorrectly listed as the manager I tried to handle the calls personally so I could explain the problem . ** is a great guy but he is new to our store (started the last of December)but he should have brought this to my attention and let me help explain that we were not out to false advertise but that it was an honest mistake in data entry. We had switched from dealer specialties to firstlook systems and it was a different format in the data entry, so yes we made a mistake. By not being familiar as we should have been with our new system we went to our backscreen on our website to change the prices and it only polls our dms twice daily so it would take several hours to change depending on when the next polling was . But this still didn't solve the problem because each night at midnight the website would poll the dms again and change it right back . now we know to change it in firstlook systems not on the website . and has solved all the problems.

We were told they were able to find a bank to fit our needs We test drove a car, and then were told they were unable to find a bank to meet our needsWhat a disappointing experience!!!! We realize we don't have good credit, and the dealership was aware as well. We were approved for a Nissan at a different dealership, but wanted to look at the Forte's because it was around the same price. We called first and were told to come by. We were very clear about what we wanted and what we were quoted by the other dealership. After waiting 2 hours because they were "negotiating" with the banks, the salesman, [redacted], comes to us with 3 sets of keys and tells us that they were able to find a bank that would work with us, and was within our price range. He said he was going to show us these cars that will be in the price range we want. Because we knew exactly what we wanted, we asked specifically what the cars were and their cost... Oh, they were used and about 17k, the same price as the 2014 Forte. We told him if that was the price range anyway, we wanted the black forte. He said OK, we test drove it, and were extremely excited!!! While we were waiting for the paperwork, they started closing. About 20 minutes later, they told us they couldn't find a bank that would work with us.... Um... Then why did [redacted] come to us with three sets of keys to begin with and tell us they had good news??? Besides this entry, I'm filing with the Revdex.com and also contacting all the customer service managers, including the main Kia. What a horrible experience! I will never go there again!!! Desired SettlementI don't think there's anything they could do to make this OK... It was shady, dishonest and disappointing Business Response I am very sorry that you had a bad experience at Deacon Jones Kia. We have very recently hired some new managers here at the store, and we will strive very hard to make sure customers always have a great experience in the future. I know every situation is different, but we should always do our best to thoroughly understand a customer's needs and problems before we make any type of financing commitments. I hope you were able to find the car you needed, and if there's ever anything we can do for you in the future, please feel free to call on me personally.[redacted]

I researched a [redacted]- VIN online with this dealership that was listed as 18,995 on their website- they did not honor the priceI have the 13 page printout from their website printed out on 8/18/14 listing the car price at 18,995. I clicked the link to the advertisement and stated I was interested in the car and received a folll0w up call from the internet manager, [redacted] I additionally called the morning of 8/18/14 to inquire about the specific car listed to confirm te car was on the lot. I received a confirmation text from [redacted] Myself and my boyfriend took off work early and went to the dealearship (an hour away. We went through the entire process and were told the online price was a mistake, despite it currently being posted oonline at the time we were sitting in the office.Desired SettlementI would like that advertisement removed from their website. Ideally, I would be given the price that was advertised, but I realize this is not always an ideal world. I NEVER want a consumer to have to waste time, money, and emotion on something of this nature again.Business Response Imet with Ms.[redacted] myself that evening and told them I would personally look after them. I did explain the price was wrong but actually allowed on the trade approximately 2500$ over the book and didn't deduct for a previous accident on the trade to try to overcome the mistake. We also offered to fill there car up with gas to let them know that we were sorry for her drive. one of the problems was the amount she owed on the trade that made the payments so high . I believe it was around 4500 or so in negative equity to be carried over that made the payments seem high. I did go in and correct the ad the very next day, and the salesmanager that had priced it that way is no longer at our dealership.
