I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. All info in the business reply was accurate except the amount...it was always $100. They did not increase the amount as stated.
Regards,
[redacted]
I have researched this and found that this has been handled. I am attaching a copy of the cashed check by the customer that was dated July 18th. I have personally spoken to Mr. [redacted] and he has acknowledged that he did receive the check for $100. He also stated that he attempted...
to log in and withdraw the complaint but was unable to find a way do so. We process hundreds of rebates per month and unfortunately Mr. [redacted] was a victim of our accounting system upgrades. To be clear his original rebate amount was for $50 and due to the inconvenience we increased it to $100 prior to the complaint being filed. We have apologized again for our mishandling of this particular customer and he has expressed his thanks and understanding. I do hope this resolves this issue. Sincerely,Chad [redacted]
Dear Mr. [redacted]
First let me express my sincerest apologies for this
abnormal experience with our company. This is definitely not how we would have liked this situation to be
handled and we are correcting our procedures. As far as your claim is concerned, we do...
not consider the
matter closed. We are still currently
investigating all circumstances. Please
understand that we service approximately 6000 customers per year and have never
had a single incident such as this happen before. This unique scenario has raised many
questions for us and our insurance company as well as our tape supplier and
manufacturer. I am personally involved in the inquiry to this matter. It is my understanding that you had informed
multiple employees of ours that you were the first and sole owner of this
vehicle and when asked if it had previously been wrecked you responded with a “No”. After reviewing the public record we have
found that there have actually been multiple owners. I was also informed by the technician who
performed the service on your vehicle that there was evidence of a post-factory
paint job that had been done on the area as well as evidence of a previous,
improper rear-glass replacement. As I hope you can understand, we are looking into all
aspects and possibilities of cause due to the nature of your claim. I request that until we have reached a conclusion into this
matter, you direct all contact with our company to me directly. I can be reached a[redacted]Respectfully,
