Hi ***I'm sorry to hear you feel this way, but respect your positionHowever, I still would like to resolve this issue for you if at all possible, so there were a couple of things I wanted to clarify.First, if you had already provided documentation to us to help us look into this experience, I apologize, however it doesn't look like it every made it to our Content Team for them to investigate furtherI can't make any promises, but this information might help us to better understand the experience and why the review is in violation of our policiesIf you did want to send it in, you're welcome to send it to me directly so that I can make sure our team is able to look at any further information right away. The main thing I wanted to clarify however is that you need to pay money to log in or manage your listingThat is not the case, and we provide a free level of access to make sure that you can still control your listing info and respond to reviews even if you are not a paying customerFirst and foremost, DealerRater serves as a review website of reviews by and for consumers, and we want to make sure that we provide the most accurate and fair information and reviews on our site - withholding information or providing inaccurate information about your dealership to consumers is bad for us too - and we want to help you manage your listingWe're definitely not going to force you to sign up for free access, but I did want to clarify that you can absolutely respond to your reviews and update your listing for free.We also do not mediate review disputes, regardless of a dealer's status with us - The Resolution Advantage period is a time for dealer's to respond privately to reviews they have received, but we do not get involved in this processWe obviously encourage our dealers and reviewers to try and work out their differences in the case of negative reviews, but at the end of the day DealerRater reviews are simply a forum for reviewers to share their experience, and for the dealership to respond if they so choose.Again, I'm truly sorry for any confusion about DealerRater or our policies, and I really would like to help resolve the situation for you if at all possible, The one thing I can't do is guarantee the removal of this review, but I hope you will follow up with us and allow us to help as best we canYou are welcome to reach out to me anytime at [redacted] or [redacted] if you have any questions.Sincerely, [redacted] Manager of Customer Care

Dear ***,We apologize for any difficulty
you have experienced with DealerRater, but appreciate your bringing this to our
attention so that we can try to make things right. The integrity of the
content on our site is of the highest importance to us, and for that reason, we
have to be
positive that a review is in violation of our Terms of Use before we
can remove itIn the case of the review you reported, we unfortunately don’t
have sufficient evidence that the review is fraudulent or otherwise a violation
of our policiesWe understand that your records do not show an experience matching
the details of this review, however a review which incorrectly states the year
or price of the vehicle would not be a violation of our policies, and therefore
we are unable to remove the review for that reason. However, we absolutely do want to
provide you with the ability to respond to this review, so that you can look
into the situation further, and post a public response to the review you have
receivedIt is a true that many of the features we offer are at cost, however
the ability to respond publicly to a review is notThis is called Affiliate
Access, and it provides you with the ability to post public replies to your reviews
All we need to set this up is for you to sign an authorization form confirming
that you do want this activated for your dealership.I have notified your account manager
here at DealerRater, *** *** of your desire for Affiliate Access, and he
will be in touch with you to provide the authorization form so that we can get
this set up for youIf you have any questions, you can contact me directly at
*** ***, or at ***.Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***
Hi ***,It would seem you have a major internal problem with your companyI marked this review fraudulent on 4-12-after finding it during a search even though it was posted on 3-20-without any notice being sent to me that business was listed on your website let alone a fraudulent review was publishedI did not get a reply from your company until 4-20-I spent the next couple of days providing your company with all the links and documentation requested and required to have this review removedThe case number assigned is ***It would seem to me that your company has no interest in reviewing actual documentation without having a paid account with you. Now which is it? Are you a forum, a directory, or a review site? Your company's story changes every time I push the questionIt would seem to me your company is begging people to right negative reviews about companies that do not even know that you stole there information and posted it on your website so in turn you can demand money from them to attempt to have the review removedAs I stated before I am not interested in having my business associated with your company or your website.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***. No where on your website do you list yourself as a forum or a directoryStealing dealer's information so you can blackmail them into paying you 700+ dollars a month to protect them from bad reviews does not make you a forum or a directory. Your company has been provided with all the proof that it needs to remove my listing and this fake review. I will not sign up for a site that promotes slanderous/fake reviews and expects to get paid to remove them From what I understand from other complaints, you will get involved in mediation, during the "Resolution Advantage period," but only for your "Certified Dealers," who are paying $or more per month.Regards,** ***

Hello,We're sorry to hear of the difficulty you have experienced regarding this review, but appreciate your letting us know, we would like to help you resolve this situation if we canDealerRater serves as a directory and forum for consumers to research and share their experiences at automotive
dealership and service centers, which is why we are not able to remove your dealership from our siteIn regards to this review, are you able to provide the documentation you reference which would help us to invalidate the review? If so, please send it along to me directly at ***, and I will make sure that our Content Team re-opens their report for this review and includes the documentation you provide when they look into this situation again. Please know that even providing this documentation does not guarantee the removal of the review from our site - we allow consumers to share their opinion of their experience, and therefore cannot take sides in a "he said, she said" type of situationHowever, if we can prove that the review violates of Terms of use or Community Guidelines, then it will be removed from the siteAt the end of the day, we can't make judgement calls about whether we feel a review should be posted - in order to be fair an unbiased, we compare all reviews against our Terms of use and Community Guidelines, and if the review is in violation, it will be removed, otherwise it must remain posted.I also wanted to let you know that whether or not we are able to remove the review, we can set you up with access so that you can claim your listingThere is no cost for this, and it will allow you post public responses to any review posted about your dealership on DealerRater - this will allow you to respond to the reviewer and to give your side of the story for the benefit of any consumer who reads your reviews on DealerRaterThere is no cost for this, so if you are interested in setting up access to claim your listing to manage your listing information and respond to your reviews, please contact me to let me know, and we will be happy to set that up for you.Again, we're sorry for the trouble you have been through, and please let us know with any furthger information or documentation you cna provide about this review, or if you are interested in claiming your DealerRater listing.Sincerely,Dale BeckerManager of Customer Care

Hello,Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on your experience, and I'm sorry for any difficulty or confusion this has caused. Your review was initially submitted to DealerRater, however it was removed by our Content Moderation Team for violating our Terms of Use policies. The specific...

violation in this instance was quoting the "Utah DMV - Salvage Vehicles and Branded Titles" law. We unfortunately are not able to allow direct quotations of laws or policy, and for that reason your review was rejected. We did try to alert you to this with an email sent on April 8 explaining why the review was removed, and I'm very sorry if you never received that message. However, the goods news is that you can log back in to DealerRater to edit your review, and it would again be valid for posting on DealerRater.com. I'm not sure if Revdex.com policy allows me to send you a link to log in and edit your review, but if this comes through, you can click the following link: [redacted] - If that doesn't come through, you can always go to DealerRater and log back in to your account. Once you have logged in, you can access  MY Tools > My Reviews, and edit your review from there. if you need help with this, please contact our support team at [redacted]Once you are able to log in and edit your review, if you can delete the quoted content from the Utah DMV, your review can be resubmitted and re approved. When you make your edits, it is fine to reference the law or policy (for example, by saying "This is a violation of the Utah Law" but not by providing the complete content of the law itself.I apologize for the confusion, but thank you for taking the time to leave your review, and hope that you will log back in and make your updates so that we can chare your experiance. If you need help or have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us.Sincerely, [redacted]Manager, Customer Care
