Hello, I would like to begin my reply by giving more background since Dean's reply is somewhat of a misrepresentation of the truthIn the reply they openly admit to being at our home times within the first yearThe reply states this like they were doing us some kind of favorI highly doubt anyone would see having this many issues with a brand new HVAC, and them attempting to fix them as a favorYes, Dean's did extend the warranty an extra year due to having multiple issues with the function of the unit THEY installed (more on this later)I believe this speaks to the shoddy work they performed on that unit since it continued to fail multiple timesAfter this warranty ended, we made the mistake of PAYING for a service agreement, against our better judgementIt was NOT given to us, as stated in the reply from Dean'sWithin weeks of the time they came to begin the service agreement, the system started having issues againThe technician found that the freon needed to be refilled, and this was at least the 4th time this happenedEach time they found this issue, they were very proud that they had once again solved all of our problems, never once having a thought that there was obviously a leak somewhereAs a side note, I wonder what the EPA would think of a company refilling freon in a HVAC multiple times? The most asinine part is that we actually had to pay them for this service call, despite having this issue multiple times and having the service agreementAgain, keep believing you have done us some kind of favorNow on to your reply which is riddled with misspellings and poor grammar choicesBasic English dictates that you should check your work before you submit itSort of like you should be sure an air conditioning system functions properly before you leave it with the homeownerI really appreciate you replying because, you have actually done the hard part for me of proving how shoddy your work isI believe your reply speaks to the quality and integrity of your company's workIt was truly painful to read it, I must sayThe reply mentions fixing the TXV causing the leakI find it interesting that once we found a competent company (that means intelligent for those that don't understand basic English), they had to replace a Schrader valve, which I believe is in some way related to the TXVWithin minutes the other company's technician knew there was a leak somewhere and having to refill the freon could not be the only problemThis is another example of shoddy work by Dean's that was left for someone else to clean up I would actually like to address my "cussing" at themI fully admit that I used profanity against ONE personNOT "us" as mentioned in the replyI am disappointed in myself for dropping to that level as this is the first time I have ever used profanity in an argument with someone; however, you cannot even begin to fathom how frustrating it has been dealing with most of the individuals employed by Dean's in our areaIt is also an exaggeration that I was rude to all of the employeesI will admit to being rude to individuals within upper management, who I would say lack any integrity that a member of upper management should possessIt is interesting just how defensive the person in the reply gets and exaggerates each issueI write "the person" because there is nothing identifying who is dictating the replyI had the decency to identify myself at the very leastI expect nothing less of Dean's at this pointThe profanity was used when the head manager proceeded to interrupt me multiple times saying "there is nothing else we can do for you, call Lennox if you need further assistance," when they had nothing to do with the installDean's was the installer and did a extremely poor job of standing by their workWere this a Lennox issue, Dean's should have rectified that within the first year (when they admittedly came to our house times) while the system was under warrantyI suppose it IS easier to perform shoddy work, and place the blame on someone elseThe manager ended the call by saying "never call here again" and hung up on meI find this equally "mature" of a person that is probably twice my ageThanks for taking the time to "set things straight", in your mindIt only took a little over months for a response from the company, and I feel as if it will be very enlightening for all that will see thisSincerely, [redacted] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] ***

Hello,   I would like to begin my reply by giving more background since Dean's reply is somewhat of a misrepresentation of the truth. In the reply they openly admit to being at our home 5 times within the first year. The reply states this like they were doing us some kind of favor. I highly doubt anyone would see having this many issues with a brand new HVAC, and them attempting to fix them as a favor. Yes, Dean's did extend the warranty an extra year due to having multiple issues with the function of the unit THEY installed (more on this later). I believe this speaks to the shoddy work they performed on that unit since it continued to fail multiple times. After this warranty ended, we made the mistake of PAYING for a service agreement, against our better judgement. It was NOT given to us, as stated in the reply from Dean's. Within 2 weeks of the time they came to begin the service agreement, the system started having issues again. The technician found that the freon needed to be refilled, and this was at least the 4th time this happened. Each time they found this issue, they were very proud that they had once again solved all of our problems, never once having a thought that there was obviously a leak somewhere. As a side note, I wonder what the EPA would think of a company refilling freon in a HVAC multiple times? The most asinine part is that we actually had to pay them for this service call, despite having this issue multiple times and having the service agreement. Again, keep believing you have done us some kind of favor. Now on to your reply which is riddled with misspellings and poor grammar choices. Basic English dictates that you should check your work before you submit it. Sort of like you should be sure an air conditioning system functions properly before you leave it with the homeowner. I really appreciate you replying because, you have actually done the hard part for me of proving how shoddy your work is. I believe your reply speaks to the quality and integrity of your company's work. It was truly painful to read it, I must say. The reply mentions fixing the TXV causing the leak. I find it interesting that once we found a competent company (that means intelligent for those that don't understand basic English), they had to replace a Schrader valve, which I believe is in some way related to the TXV. Within 30 minutes the other company's technician knew there was a leak somewhere and having to refill the freon could not be the only problem. This is another example of shoddy work by Dean's that was left for someone else to clean up.  I would actually like to address my "cussing" at them. I fully admit that I used profanity against ONE person. NOT "us" as mentioned in the reply. I am disappointed in myself for dropping to that level as this is the first time I have ever used profanity in an argument with someone; however, you cannot even begin to fathom how frustrating it has been dealing with most of the individuals employed by Dean's in our area. It is also an exaggeration that I was rude to all of the employees. I will admit to being rude to 2 individuals within upper management, who I would say lack any integrity that a member of upper management should possess. It is interesting just how defensive the person in the reply gets and exaggerates each issue. I write "the person" because there is nothing identifying who is dictating the reply. I had the decency to identify myself at the very least. I expect nothing less of Dean's at this point. The profanity was used when the head manager proceeded to interrupt me multiple times saying "there is nothing else we can do for you, call Lennox if you need further assistance," when they had nothing to do with the install. Dean's was the installer and did a extremely poor job of standing by their work. Were this a Lennox issue, Dean's should have rectified that within the first year (when they admittedly came to our house 5 times) while the system was under warranty. I suppose it IS easier to perform shoddy work, and place the blame on someone else. The manager ended the call by saying "never call here again" and hung up on me. I find this equally "mature" of a person that is probably twice my age. Thanks for taking the time to "set things straight", in your mind. It only took a little over 2 months for a response from the company, and I feel as if it will be very enlightening for all that will see this. Sincerely,
