I visited this restaurant July 28, 2017 during lunch time. I just arrived after flying in. I sat at the bar. I watched this group of 3 people place their order with who I later found was the manager. She took their menu's and put them away and passed right by me at the bar without handing me one. I waited patiently as she out their order's into the machine which was right in front of me and still I didn't receive a menu. I asked would she mind giving me a menu. She said I am busy right now. I said I understand I would just like to loom over it while you are doing that. She said again this time even ruder than before I am busy I am putting in an order. Again I said I understand just wanted to look over the menu. Mind you when she took the groups menu sitting next to me she could have handed me a menu instead she put them on the corner in front of me but out of my arm reach. After the second request another lady was very nice and retrieved a menu from me. Than the manager said to me "you are rude you are talking under you breath" I said I am not talking under my breath she continued saying you are rude I hear you. I said ma'am I am not saying anything and ask the other lady can I speak with a manager. She said I am the manager. She got louder and continue saying I was rude and that she was busy and I am mumbling under my breath. I got up to leave but stopped at the front entrance and explained what happened to the gentlemen and lady working up front they both apologized for what happened. I asked was there a regional manager they said no this is family owned and she is the family. Then this loud manager comes over there and says I have a right to refuse service to anyone I chose. She again said I was rude and mumbling under my breath I said I never said anything to her. I really felt like I was in grade school. She told me all I need to do was apologize for mumbling I said I am not apologizing and I left. That was the worst and most unprofessional service I have ever experienced.

Review: My family and I recently visited Deanies Seafood and needless to say we had a horrible experience. We visited this same location a year prior and enjoyed the food and the service although the manager/owner seemed to have a nasty disposition while addressing her staff. On May 19th the incident that occurred was very distasteful and rude. My parents who normally share plates ordered a meal that came with a side salad and fish platter...my mom was told that she had to order her own salad as it could not be shared but was not told the dinner itself could not be shared. My mother grabbed a piece of the fish from may dad's plate and that's when we received the most rude, hateful, distasteful service ever! The manager who I later found out was the manager was rude, she addressed my mother in a very disrespectful tone, I spoke up for my mother and she placed her hand in my face and told me to shut my mouth because it was not my food, she proceeded to scream and harass us until I demanded to-go boxes so we could leave..the yelling and threats continued. I will NEVER EVER VISIT this location again and the fact that she owns the place and treats patrons in this way is ridiculous. People come to New Orleans for the full experience I HAVE NEVER IN LIFE BEEN TREATED OR TALKED TO IN THIS WAY..PERIOD. Upon leaving I did look up reviews and review after review said the same...her attitude is terrible, she's rude and the poor staff seems miserable.Something needs to be done! She's feels untouchable since she is the owner/mananger but she needs to understand you can't treat PAYING customers in this way!Desired Settlement: I would like contact from a rep at the Revdex.com, apology from the Business Owner and a full refund!

Review: My family and I visited this restaurant during the past week, the food was horrible. We had a party of 11 and received extremely poor satisfaction from the "OWNER" CANDICE, after paying an $271 bill my 11 year daughter was not satisfied with the shrimp poboy. The shrimp were not deveined and daughter mentioned to the waiter that she does not at shrimp as such, he then called the manager, which happens to be the owner, Candice. She one, approached us with a totally rude attitude. My 11 yr old said, "Ma'am I don't eat shrimp like this" she replied "I'm sorry we don't take anything back because you don't like it, you should have asked if they were deveined before ordering", I then said, "how do you expect an 11yr old to ask that? you should specify that on your menu!" Candice then got a bit aggressive not only to me but my entire party because we were explaining to her what we were wanting. not any money back just to be satisfied with our food that we paid for ( a substitute of something else) she then asked us to leave the restaurant and called the on duty police officer to escort us out, I feel like she was very unprofessional and rude to my party in more ways than one, I am asking for my money back I paid for the poyboy along with the taxes and gratuity. I will not get into how the food was disgusting!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the poy boy along with the taxes and gratuity.

Review: On April 7, 2016, six family members celebrated one of our bithday's at Deanie's Seafood Restaurant. I had a $25 gift card that had been purchased in December 2008. I had the receipt for the gift card purchased. The card had been misplaced, when it was found, I called Deanie's along with my sister to verify that the gift card was still active. We were both told that it was. This was confirmed by Deanie's and the 1-800-242-5353 phone number located on the back of the card. As we went to pay the bill (gratuity included), we were told the card wasn't valid. The owner/manager provided us with this information. For thirty minutes we tried to reason with the owner/manager to accept the gift card for partial payment. The owner/manager absolutely refused to accept the card, insisting there was no way to verify its balance. The owner/manager informed us that as of December of 2015, Deanie's was using a different type of gift card. Again, we explained the card verified to be active and again, the owner/manager was completely unreasonable, uncooperative and refused to accept the gift card. I believe the owner/manager was unfair and dishonest.Desired Settlement: I feel that Deanie's owes me the $25 that I paid for their gift card.
