Regards,
*** *** Harley picked up my bike from my house not another shop, the main shaft nut was broken in the transmission and I decided not to let them fix itHarley Davidson repair shop and I agreed that they would go through the whole bike from mechanical to electrical and it would be ready by the spring. so when spring arrives they said the bike was not ready, so late spring comes I was informed the bike was ready, I ride the bike for two weeks and it breaks down on me at a gas station near my home, I had to wait and pay for a tow truck, it was a terrible experience it was at night too. I had the money to get my bike fix, I just told them to let me make payments over the winter because I couldn't ride the bike until the spring anyways, so I return my bike to the Harley Davidson shop the next afternoon and they said we will take care of itevery week I went up there asking about the bike and they kept giving me the run aroundthe mechanic was honest he said he didn't know about those kind of bikes, the mechanic that they said knew about those bikes didn't either, yes *** is out of business anything can still be fix, I ok the technician to fix the bike and it wasn't fix, I made my payments all winter on a bike that I waited to drive for two weeks at the end of springI miss the whole summer waiting on them, it is my fault for being so patience, I even ask them for a loaner after waiting so long for the bike they told me no and could not give me a reason then I ask for my money back from the manager he said we will look into it, so I wait another week and the manager kept dragging his feet, so I called Harley Davidson corporate office, and they said that wasn't rite and to call the owner of the dealer and that's what I did and I told him what happen and the manager gave me my money back, my refund was $ dollars not $and I signed off on the work because I trusted them, I went through a lot to get my money back I have the receipt for the $refund who every is the account manager needs to be investigatedthey need to give me some money for missing the whole summer, I took the bike to another shop after I pulled it out of Harley Davidson and he fixed the bike in a few hours it was a battery and a starter switch the bike runs fine the mechanic laugh and said those guys were some is, I have the receipt from the other shop that fix the bike it was a couple hours of trouble shooting and a couple hours of labor and parts and these guys had the bike all summer and couldn't figure that out that's sadI wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone a lesson learned for methis complaint definitely needs to be held against this companyI was very patience with them I miss out on riding motorcycles with my uncle and my dad to our family reunionthey tried to trade me a warrior motorcycle for a handmade bikethey must thought I was an is, I once again had to pay for another tow to pick the bike up, they was dragging their feet to bring the bike to my house, they should reimburse me for these tows, every time I have called the manager he always said I called you back by the end of the day and he didn't, I always had to called them I couldn't take it anymorewhen they put my bike back together my lights were just hanging from my gas tank they couldn't even put the lights back riteI really should be refunded for the tows that I had to pay for because of their lack of knowledgeRevdex.com can you help me with that?

Please see below re: the complaint against our company We took in a 2002 Titan Coyote from Mr. [redacted] in September 2014. We picked the bike up from another repair facility as they had broken the main shaft nut in the transmission and could not repair it.  We advised Mr....

[redacted] the bike would not be ready until spring.  He was happy with that as he could not afford the repairs at that time and wanted to make deposits until spring.  Although Titan has been out of business quite some time we had a technician who was familiar with the motor and transmission.  Shortly after the bike arrived, our technician put in a leave of absence as he had important family issues to tend to.  At that time we hired a new technician who is not so familiar with this brand of motorcycle.  Fortunately we have a technician at our Harley-Davidson dealership who is.  The parts were ordered at that time.  Then the customer advised us there were also electrical issues in addition to the transmission.  We told him we would look into it.  Apparently many hands were into the electrical system.  The wiring harness had been “customized” by someone attempting to hook up lighting.  Mr. [redacted] was advised by our tech as to how he intended to repair it and he OK’d it.  He was also advised as to the obsolescence of parts as Titan was long out of business.  We did all repairs over the winter and the customer picked up the Titan in spring 2015 after paying his bill and signing off on the work.  He rode the bike away at that time.  About a month later he came back with the bike stating another electrical issue.  We could not schedule the work immediately as this type of repair can be very time consuming.  He was concerned he was missing riding season.  He inquired about trading the bike but did not like the numbers.  It is at that time we decided to help the customer in good faith.  Even though we had fixed the transmission and electrical as requested and he had ridden it away we decided to refund his money in excess of $ 600.00 parts and labor.  The customer agreed with the solution and picked up the bike.  We felt we went over and above for Mr. [redacted].  Not only did we fix the transmission and electrical but we also refunded his money. Please contact me if you have any other questions…. I trust this complaint will not be held against our company.  [redacted]ControllerSouth East Harley DavidsonSouth East Golf Car Company
