unfortunate that he is having these issues. It's very important to us to do whatever we can to go above [redacted] beyond for our customers to make sure that they have a great experience dealing with Halifax Motorsports. We are very easy to get a hold of [redacted] to book a service appointment with. The owner of the company, [redacted], is also available regularly to speak with. We are a transparent company [redacted] take this complaint very seriously.
In this response, the Revdex.com has requested that we should include "an explanation of the events from our prospective." Please note, this is the first, through this Revdex.com complaint, that the customer has notified us of the issues he is having above. He has, up until now, not contacted Halifax Motorsports to give us the opportunity to solve or diagnose any of his issues.
It is also very important to note that in the above complaint, he mentions problems another customer has had. This customer has also not contacted us looking for help with any of his service issues either.

On October 28th, [redacted] I met to discuss my issue regarding my ATV. However, when [redacted] showed up to my place of work at our agreed time, between XX:XX-XX:XXam, he was very upset. When he arrived I was in the middle of finishing what I was doing [redacted] I asked if he could wait for a few moments. His response "NO" very loud in the showroom [redacted] said he had another meeting at 1pm. He said that we were going to do this right now [redacted] that we will be going outside to do so. [redacted] Our discussion started outside with [redacted] asking, "[redacted]?" He then told me I was going to ruin his business, family [redacted] life. I tried to explain my complaint was sent to [redacted] Canada, however he would not let me speak. [redacted]. [redacted] "[redacted]", "[redacted]" [redacted] "[redacted]s [redacted]. [redacted]". He has also stated that he joined forces with [redacted] Canada [redacted] I will be getting nothing from either of them. He said I did not have a leg to st[redacted] on because I did not have my ATV's maintenance done by his company or by a licensed technician. However, I was never once told this [redacted] it does not say anywhere in the maintenance book that work must be done by a licensed technician. In fact, I am sure, after asking at the time of purchase, I was told that if I did my own maintenance, I would just need to keep the receipts to prove it was done, which I have. My only option was to bring the bike in to his shop [redacted] have his technician look at it at my own expense.
I was of the underst[redacted]ing that we were going to meet to find a solution for this problem [redacted]. [redacted]. I was hoping we could find a solution that would benefit both Mr. [redacted] myself. [redacted]. I am not the type of customer that complains [redacted] I do not like confrontation. I just wanted to be treated like a customer [redacted] have my issue resolved in a professional manner, like I would do if a customer of mine had an issue with one of our products.
I am not sure where to go from here. I have paid over $8000 for the bike (tax included) [redacted] feel like I have nothing to show for it but an ATV that does not work. At this point, I feel the only suitable solution for this issue is to be refunded by [redacted] or Halifax Motorsports because I am paying for something that I feel is unsafe to drive. I was only asking for Halifax Motorsports to help me find a solution to my issue [redacted]. For that reason I wish to have no further direct contact with Mr. [redacted]. [redacted]. I hope that that Revdex.com can help me find a resolution to this matter.

As I sit [redacted] read this response from Halifax motor sports,[redacted]?? I was indeed sent two text messages last week asking if I would like to book my bike in to be looked at. [redacted]. [redacted]. [redacted].What would make me ever want to step foot in his business again? And even telling me any repairs would be at my expense [redacted] if for some reason I did not pay he would put a mechanics Lien on my ATV. Mr [redacted] did not even check to see if there was warranty left on my ATV before visiting. However I did find the information in my paperwork for the bike stating I do have engine warranty until July 4th 2016. I have all receipts showing I have done my schedule maintenance to the ATV. I am a fair person I have asked MR. [redacted] a few times for a number on the bike to buy it back as I do not want to be out all of this money. He will not provide me with an option like that.

Again, in response to the customer's complaint, we have tried on several occasions to have this ATV booked in for service to have the issues diagnosed. We were under the impression that this was going to be the next step towards solving this problem however the customer will not respond to our messages we have left [redacted] texts we have sent him.
We feel that the statements he is making in his complaints are incorrect. We feel that he has damaged his ATV by not doing the correct maintenance [redacted] is looking for someone to blame. Unfortunately, this would have happened with any br[redacted] name machine he owned as all br[redacted]s of ATV's require proper maintenance.
Until the customer chooses to contact us or answer our calls, we are unable to deal with this issue any further.
