Yes The carpet that was installed in their Family Room, was defective The carpet had a side-match issue I, [redacted] *look pictures of the side-match issue and sent those pictures to the carpet manufacturer [redacted] The pictures were sent in within two (2) days of the discovery of the side-match issue The manufacturer has agreed to replace the defective carpet, as well as, any labor associated with the replacementWe re-ordered the same carpet on the same day that we installed the defective materials However, there are a series of quality control measures that are taken, prior to replacing defective material One of those measures is a series of inspections, of which we cannot control The manufacturer has pushed the production of this replacement material back, many times, since it was initially ordered It is not uncommon, this time of year, for the manufacturer to do soIt is not in our control until we receive the replacement carpet Then we can get Mrand MrsThornberry's installation taken care of Mrand MrsThornberry are not walking on a bare floor The defective carpet was installed so they would NOT have to walk on a bare floor We understand that there will be furniture moving involved, on the replacement side of the installation Honestly, I would love to get this project complete and done The last time MsThornberry paid a visit to our showroom, she really put on a show We cannot control any manufacturer's timetable or production requirements In conclusion, we received the replacement carpet and have her installation scheduled on August 18th Hopefully, these customers will be happy and satisfied

Our company, has indeed been in contact with Mrs***. We have actually been in contact with her on several occasions. We, in fact, submitted her claim to Mohawk Industries. Mohawk Industries contracted with an independent inspector to pay a site visit to Mrs***'s home and
inspect the carpet, in question. The inspector did visit Mrs***'s residence. The inspector submitted his findings to Mohawk Industries and, subsequently, Mohawk has denied Mrs***'s claim. Although, Mohawk Industries has denied Mrs***'s claim, I am, working with our soft surface Mohawk representative, to resolve this issue for her. Mrs*** is a wonderful customer. We are trying to help resolve this issue, ourselves, since the claim has been denied. The claim process is is an extremely, laborious, lengthy process. I have asked Mrs*** to, please, be patient. It is my hope that we have a resolution, to her satisfaction, soon. We, as the retailer, are between a rock and a hard place. We want our customers to be satisfied, and when a warranty claim has been denied, no one is happy or satisfied. Our customers, always have and always will, come first, to us. We live, work and play in this community. We see our customers, out and about, in our community. Our business can be made or broken by the customers, we serve, in our community. Just wanted to let you know that the carpet company came out last Friday (8/18/17) and replaced and finished the job The issue has now been resolved to my satisfaction Thank you again for all your help in getting this taken care of. Have a great day,

I do not have a problem with Dearing Carpeting I think they have done all they can to resolve my problem My complaint is with *** Carpeting I have had *** carpeting upstairs in my home for over yrs They say the dog is causing the pulls in our carpet He goes upstairs all the time and there is not one pull in that carpet He cannot walk on the *** carpet we have downstairs.The problem is not with Dearing It is with *** Of course they would deny the claim They publish they have a 100% warranty But what good is it if they won't honor it

I have contacted [redacted] regarding your Kitchen floor. Their comments were that, in their opinion, there is nothing wrong with the floor.
They believe the floor is reacting to a condition that has changed in the home. Either moisture from an appliance or a sudden temperature change could cause...

the floor to buckle.
Looking at the surface of the floor, you cannot see the root cause of the problem. We won't really know for sure what has caused the failure until the flooring is pulled back and examined. If nothing is evident, we will replace the vinyl floor at no charge to you. If there is evidence of a failure due to the condition of the floor under the vinyl, we will need to discuss how to proceed from there regarding any additional costs.
I do have the replacement materials on hold. Please give me a call, at your earliest convenience, and let me know how you wish to proceed.
