Review: Dealer Electronic Services (DES) located in [redacted], PA sold us a defective car starter, which ruined our car battery, and refused to accommodate our request to fix the car starter today (1/7/14) at 5:00pm. In fact, [redacted] (a representative from DES) raised his voice and said in a disrespectful manner that, "I will come over and rip it [car starter] out of your vehicle!" over the phone with me around 11:30am on 1/7/14.[redacted] was initially willing to send one of his technicians to come out and fix the car this morning/afternoon. I told him that I work out of state and can not be home until 5:00pm., and that I wanted to be present while they worked on the car because last time they did not do it properly. He responded in a verbally aggressive and unprofessional mannerism on the phone telling me that his workers can not work past 5:00pm (although they have done so in the past), and if I can't do it during the time while their technicians are in the area, then there is nothing they can do to help me. I responded by saying that I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the problems with the car starter because it had drained the battery completely to the point that we had to call [redacted] to jumpstart the vehicle and my wife had to loose a day of work. In addition, their lack of flexibility was complicating the situation. Even more disturbing was that [redacted] raised his voice to me over the phone and said in a disrespectful manner that, "I will come over and rip it[car starter] out of your vehicle!" Realizing the hostility that [redacted] was exhibiting, I informed him that I would be contacting the dealership (that DES does business with) and the Revdex.com to share my experience with them. [redacted] then hung the phone up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like Dealer Electronic Services to resolve this matter by:1). Writing a letter specifically stating their apology for their verbally aggressive and unprofessional conduct over the phone to handle a customer's matter, and how we should have been treateted.2). Fix or replace the car starter with one of equal or higher value at 5:00pm on a date and location (car dealerhip) of our choosing.3). Financial compensation for inconvenience and loss of day's pay for my working wife ($300)
