Death Wish Coffee Company Reviews (5)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Unfortunately very little the business said is true.Kane stated they were understaffed and he was the only one working and the rest of the company was with Mike B [redacted] in a hot air balloon rideThe pictures were posted on the companies public instagram page. When I emailed the owner that his customer service manager was telling me this and wanted to know why there was a lack of ownership over what happened. Its still very sad to see this business has to continue attacking me with falsehoods now months later rather than when I was actually in contact with the owner.Regards, [redacted]

This was a customer that was not happy with any resolution we put forwardHe didn't like how we ran a certain giveawayWe were giving away one of our mugs that we release seasonally and then a few days later we did the sale of said mugWe usually give of these mugs away out of over 300,potential winnersUsually we announce the winners before the sale so that people know whether they won or notThrough scheduling error, we announced the winners after the saleThis gentleman waited and then when he found out he didn't win, he went on the site to find the mugs were sold outHe complained via a happiness survey we send out days after an order was placedUsually we go through surveys when we can to find out general numbers on if people are happy or notWe send out 10s of thousands of surveys a monthWe always make sure to try and respond to all the bad ones, which is unheard of for most companiesNormally companies have 3rd parties gather this data and don't actually respondHe didn't like our response and grew furiousWe at the time were slightly short staffed with the amount of work that was coming inHe then stalked the people he was in contact with on their personal social media accounts and started attacking what they were doing in their personal timeOur owner got an opportunity to take some of them out on a hot air balloon rideWe made sure there were people to cover but this customer was very upset and bothered by itHe then began chatting very rude and profane things to our live chatHe started calling and harassing our repsSome of them actually had to turn their social media accounts private because he started harassing them and were actually afraid he may come to our offices in personNot only did we send him the mug he was trying to win, we also changed the way we did contests from there on out to make sure this didn't happen againWe also hired another rep to help out and make sure surveys stayed current and every one was responded to in a timely fashionNone of this was enough for him

I just want this company to understand that lying to customers and then harassing them via social media and their live chat when asking for a tracking number is completely rude.I've reached out multiple times to the owner and after stating things would improve encountered the same issue twice with...

the same two customer service reps.

Hello, I've reviewed the claim the customer has submitted and I'd like to resolve this matter immediately. The mug sale the customer is referring to is in regards to an online sale for a set of (2) mugs, released first to our 10,000 coffee subscribers list on Monday 2/5 and then again the...

following day on 2/6/18, for our entire email list which consists of over 500,000 people. The number of sets made was only 2,000 pieces total, due to a manufacturing/production issue with our vendor. Any mug sale we do at any time, at most, has only consisted of 5,000 pieces total, we've never had a quantity over that amount. We do not sell our mugs on eBay, we do have a seller account on eBay listed under Death Wish Coffee, where we strictly only sell our coffee. Merchandise and apparel are excluded from our eBay store. The resellers of our mugs on eBay are private sellers, unaffiliated with Death Wish Coffee Company, LLC. We do not condone or encourage the resale of our items on eBay to anyone. The email for our 500,000+ newsletter list that was notified of our mug sale on 2/6/18 was sent out at 11 AM, EST. The remaining 1,000 mugs available after the subscriber pre-sale had sold out completely by 11:41 AM, EST. We limited every customer on our site to one mug set per purchase in efforts to control how quickly they would sell out in hopes that people seriously interested would have a fair opportunity to obtain. We "tease" the sale of the mugs several days in advance on our Podcast and send out a text message to those enrolled in the text service from us, as soon as the mugs go on sale. All means of obtaining mug sale information as it happens are listed on our site and in the various emails we send. Our intention is to ensure every person interested in our merchandise has all the means necessary to be informed of when, where and how much the mugs will be. I hope this helps to clear things up. Thank you, Caiden T[redacted]Customer Experience ManagerDeath Wish Coffee Co.
