Review: On January 8, 2014, I placed an order on line from Discount Dance and Skate for tap shoes, received an email confirmation immediately after the order was placed and was notified my credit card was charged for this transaction. Two weeks following the order, I called the company to ask about the shoes I had not received. The phone number listed on the email receipt and the website,[redacted], is not one that is consistently managed. Some days, the phone rings without an answer, some days it will go to voice mail stating the information for Debby's Dance and Skate, and one day it mentioned they were closed for business due to a family emergency. I have sent e-mails to the website address at [redacted] and to voicemail contact at [redacted] without response from either one. I have not been able to get ahold of company, nor have I heard a response through email about a request for a refund for the tap shoes.Desired Settlement: Money refund for $69.65.
Review: I have called on several occasions since date of purchase (8/11/14) and even emailed twice, once being on date of purchase to verify the order. I have spoken to Kate (?) on 8/15/14 and she stated would locate my order and call me back that day with confirmation. I called back 1/2 hour before closing time and she said (very rudely and short) she would still call me that they had been busy. I never received a call. I called today, 8/18/14, and the lady that answered was quite rude when I tried to explain for the 5th time that this was urgent and already past my 2-5 days shipment that I agreed to and paid for. I asked to speak to person in charge and was hung up on. I called back several times and no one would answer the phone. I have no product, my account was deducted the purchase price and no one will answer my calls or emails. I explained many time this was urgent and was told they would find it and send it, this did not happen.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded or my product immediately as it should have been delivered by now.

Response:
Orders are processed in 24 to 48 hours from our receipt (not including weekends and holidays). When an order is placed, the customer received an email automatically generated from the website indicating the order was placed and received by us. Orders are then filled in the order they are received, and the numbers fluctuate daily. I was out shop that week, and my staff was overwhelmed keeping up with everything. I got back Monday, the 18th and got everything back on task. The comment, the customer about being “hung up on” was not accurate. When I spoke to my girl, she said she was trying to locate the order, and when she returned to the phone, the customer was gone. The order was filled and shipped on the 19th. She states the order was “urgent” but she never let us know that when the order was placed originally, nor did she select a "quick” shipping method. She selected "standard shipping” - which is first class mail, and can take up to 7 days to arrive at it’s destination. The customer was sent an email directly from the shipping service with the shipping information. We apologize for the “couple day" delay in completing the order, but sometimes things just don’t go according to plan. I am a small business with limited resources and is doing my best to stay on top of things
