I lived at different Debco rentals over the last yearsI will NEVER do it againThey could care less about your living experienceI complained about both places I lived in because my electric bills were outrageousI called several times about air leaks in the windows and doorsThey came out and each time I found nothing but a note saying there was nothing wrong with my a/c or heating unit and I should keep my curtains closed when it was sunny I could see daylight around my front door and feel air coming through my windows, winters were especially miserable I finally had to cover the windows with plastic and apply weather stripping around the door myself I am a single person, living alone (with no pets), and I'm very conservativeI was hot in the summers and cold in the winters because I couldn't keep the temperature regulated without the unit running constantlyMy electric bills were triple what they have ever been anywhere else in the same size unitI had to move because I no longer could afford itSeveral times I called for maintenance (they were very rude) and asked me if I had tried to fix it myself....UNBELIEVABLE I rent because I don't want the upkeep on homeThe units that I lived in were very cheaply constructed Within weeks of moving in I had stains coming up through the carpets I gave them a *** deposit.....the unit was in the same condition when I moved out as the day I moved in, except for wear on the carpet (which was cheap) after being there for years, and they only refunded me *** charged me for having the carpets cleaned when they weren't clean when I moved inMy rent was paid on time the years I lived in their properties and I kept the house very cleanYou would think they would appreciate having a responsible tenant I have nothing good to say about themI think people should be aware of their practices and the quality of their properties before they decide to move in to one of them
