Debt Advisors of America is nothing more than a parasitic leach of a company that buys decades old, expired or invalid debts for pennies on the dollar and then attempts to extort people with threats of fraudulent legal action or interest accruals "at an unreasonable rate". They have no morals or ethics of any kind; they simply hope that 10% or so of the people they contact will believe falsely that they are required to respond. Don't. It's a trap.
The sooner companies like this that prey on people's fears are eliminated or outlawed, the better. If I could leave less than one start, I would.

I would like to say that I have been with another debt settlement firm for two years. This other company ( from New Jersey ) had terrible customer service. I feel so much better about where I am now. Paul L... has over the last several months been communicating with me on a regular basis even before I pulled the trigger to work with him and his company. When I first heard about the program it was not explained to me in full detail. However, Daniel S called me about a week later and introduced himself to me and explained the program to me. I was still hesitant about the program but Daniel didn't pressure me about the program. He gave me a couple of days to do my own research about the program and followed up with me. There is open communication to your advisor as well as the management staff. I would advise any new clients to remain patient your advisors are there for you not the creditor so they will only settle for the best deal possible. I have been burdened with debt for years and felt hopeless and could not see the light at the end of the tunnel.I had previously received offers regarding debt consolidation but always threw them in the trash.
