[redacted]. Letters were sent there up until July of 2016, when she filed her first dispute with Equifax and gave an address of [redacted]. Letters were sent there from July 2016 up until the last letter on May 31, 2017. There was no response to the dispute letter sent there on October 3, 2016 which asked her to put in writing what she was disputing. Ms. [redacted] failed to respond to that letter. On May 31, 2017, we sent her a proof of debt letter which included an itemization from [redacted]. I have enclosed a copy of the itemization. I noticed that in March of 2015 they showed an adjustment of the 3111,09 leaving a zero balance so I called the collection department for clarification. I was told that the adjustment was made because the account had been placed for collection and W05 off their books, but that this was for accounting purposes only and that the amount was still owed. I was also told that they do not show HEAP paying the accountWe do not show Ms. [redacted] ever contacting us to cease and desist collection. We never called [redacted] pretending to be her to retrieve information about her, as [redacted] gave us all the information on her when they placed the account for collection. She states that the account was never on her credit report, if so, why did she filed disputes with them? Also, we have been collecting for [redacted] since the early 2000's therefore there is no fraud on our part. The only discrepancy we show is the social security number. We believe this was simply a clerical error on the part of their customer service representative when the account was first set up with them.SincerelyDebt Credit Services Donna P[redacted]
