Review: I signed up with Debt Defense America because they guaranteed me that they will assist me in reducing my Discover credit card bill. They charged me 5 payments of $265 totaling $1325 for this service and they never resolved my bill. I was issued a summons from Discover because of this and I am now forced to pay the entire bill. I want my $1,325 returned to me and this company refuses to do so even though they clearly state money back guarantee. Please help me. This company is a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $1,325 given back to me so that I can use the funds to pay my Discover card the reason why I hired Debt Defense in the first place. It is not right that they are holding my money when they failed to settle the matter on my behalf.
