I am requesting a validation on this account I have never received anything but harrassment and now the company is saying they sold the account that is the way they get away with illegal account trying to scam people.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

Debt Management Partners is not a collection agency and does not make out going calls to consumersWe outsource our accounts to collection agenciesDMP never spoke to this consumerDMP does not have an employee by the name of Anthony J., past or presentWe have been able to determine,
through our investigation, that there were two calls made between *** and the consumer1.) Consumer called *** with a blocked caller ID and in this conversation the consumer claims various allegations, unfortunately *** is not able to retrieve this call for review due to the caller ID being blocked2.) In the second call the consumer calls *** on 12/to file a complaintWe have this recording and have reviewed itNone of the allegations by the consumer were made during this phone callFuthermore the consumer confirms in her complaint that it was *** and not Debt Management Partners, that called herThe account has been recalled from *** by DMP and closedNo more calls will be made to the consumer

place accounts with collection agencies for collectionsI personally apologize for the delay in our response, but I wanted to respond directly.Most complaints are simple in nature to respond to - the consumer states an alleged allegation and we investigateThis complaint has a few level of complexities that I will try to address individually.1) DMP did place an account for collections with *** *** *** (UGG).2) The consumer claims UGG made the call, not Debt Management Partners with whom the complaint was filed against.3) In order for me to investigate the alleged harassing voice message, I need to know the date and time and then I can see if any phone recordings exist.4) *** *** does have ownership in UGG.5) *** *** has never has had ownership or employment with Debt Management Partners.6) *** *** has never had ownership in *** *** ***, or ***, or any other company who has ever worked for DMP.7) Under the consumer’s social security number (last digits ***), DMP has owned separate accounts belonging to *** ***While we stress the importance of the FDCPA, we can understand why it may seem the volume of the calls were highUnfortunately with so many accounts belonging to the same consumer, it’s very possible to close account #A and then account #B receives a call a week later.DMP has closed all of our remaining accounts for *** ***.Please let me know if there is anything else we can do.*** ***Chief Operation OfficerDebt Management Partners

The consumer called Debt Management Partners on March 7, to inquire about her accountShe was asked for her social security number in order to look up
the account informationOnce located we gave her the agencies name and contact information we sold it to, *** *** *** ** ***. She will need to contact them for any further account informationIt is our policy to ask for the requested social security number in order to properly identify the consumers account and its placementWe are sorry the consumer is not happy with this fact. [redacted] As I told you on the phone today I was waiting for [redacted] to call me back regarding getting [redacted] a Verification of Debt letter sent to her. I just spoke with the General manager, [redacted] at [redacted] and she stated to me that she also received a Revdex.com complaint for [redacted] and responded January 26, 2015.    She told me that after receiving her complaint from you for [redacted] she put it in a cease and desist status just for her records even though they no longer had the account.     [redacted] has not had her account since June 17, 2014 when it was sold to a company by them named [redacted].  [redacted] also told me that no one in her office has ever talked to [redacted] personally.  There was calls made by the dialer but never a connection.  Unfortunately there are so many scam companies out there and maybe that is who she is getting calls from.

Well then I would like to be contacted my someone from the company that has higher authority than the three managers that are there.
