Debt Reduction Department

Review: Receive a letter from them stating the it was in reference to my "renegotiated Credit Card Balance Verification". Despite having my info on the do not call and have written and called the credit bureaus to have my info blocked- I still get letters with my personal info and debt information. They just change my name slightly or somehow manage to get this info. I called this number: ###-###-#### to opt-out and have my name removed from their lists. The guy who answered told me there are no lists to take me off of and I can't opt-out. He told me that my credit cards have put them in contact with me because the credit card companies want me to pay my bills. I always pay my bills and new this was a scam. He continued to claim it was my bank and my credit cards were having his company write me to have me get rid of the debt. He refused to take me off his calling lists (told me that I was the one calling and not him calling me so he doesn't have to do that) and wouldn't take me off the mailing lists- because as he kept telling me there were no mailing lists. He claimed he was the NY State Department of Consumer Credit Counseling. Judging from his attitude and garbage he was saying I knew this was a scam. He also told me his website was [redacted] which is a church site. I think that they should be revealed and people should be warned about this "company" of scammers. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like to get them checked out and get the information out there that they are a scam before someone gets ripped off by them.
