Debt Services Corp. Reviews (25)

I have received a letter from the Debt Services, [redacted] saying that owe a large sum of money and offering to a settlement and a monthly program paymentI don't owe anything and I have no idea what they're talking about

I have received the same information and decided to check and see if it was listed here Thank you for your reviews it saved me

I've received several letters from this company stating that they were "aware of your current financial situation." There's no official company name, no website to reference to (other than the personalized website they create with your name), nothing that would make you think this is an actual organization Extremely shady! And to make matters worse, they send notice after notice, with increasing urgency stating that your are now going to be sent to collections and that you've been reported to all credit bureaus for failure to maintain your debt What's even more embarrassing is that they start sending these solicitations in envelopes marked as "FINAL NOTICE", making it look like you're a deadbeat
The current phone number and address they're using is - ** *** *** *** *** ** *** * ***

Eagle logoScam letter claiming I owe SOMEONE $35,and they will allow me to make payments of $a month to clear my nonexistent debtWebsite using my nameI don't owe any debtsNothing on my credit report about any debt eitherRipoff

I received a "scam" letter indicating that my estimated credit card debt must be addressed and that the organization could help by my paying them two payments of half of the estimated total or some number of installmentsI do not have any past due credit card debt; I always pay in days.?

As with the others reporting, I received a very official looking letter claiming they could settle my debt to a creditor for half of what was owed and save my credit!! The letter did not list who the creditor might be nor any details other than the amount (exactly $11,000.00, imagine that!) Like the other reviewer here, the logo was an eagle and there were websites to go to (using my name as part of the domain) and numbers to call. There was also a "payment plan" if I was unable to pay in one lump sum. How nice of them! DO NOT CALL, DO NOT EMAIL. COMPLETE SCAM. Did I mention I have no delinquent debt?

I have received multiple mailings from this "Debt Service" company, "[redacted]," claiming that all previous attempts to collect on a total debt of $20,000 have been in vain as I have not "...contacted them." I don't intend to. I have no debt that is in arrears. I make my payments and the claim this company makes is unwarranted, unsolicited by any organization I owe money to and has no basis in reality as it is entirely without verification and validation or specifics of who they are making a claim on behalf of! What a scary scam...they want me to start making payments in the amount of "...$300/month," I guess, to clear my debt.
I highly doubt the integrity of this mystery company and would love it if the law enforcement organizations who are responsible for protecting us from fraud would pursue, apprehend and prosecute these people.

I have received a letter from the Debt Services, [redacted] saying that owe a large sum of money and offering to a settlement and a monthly program payment. I don't owe anything and I have no idea what they're talking about.

I received a letter with an eagle, which normally is seen as a government type seal. It had a sender name of Debt Services. It listed; IMPORTANT FINAL NOTICE, IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS FINAL NOTICE REQUESTED, a payment term program, FAILURE TO RESPOND MESSAGE, and it let me know that I was no longer deemed eligible for help by that office. Once they'd been contacted, they would have to reopen balances to my creditors. This deceptive letter will mislead many, yes many people. A half lie is like a half truth. God said he'd rather you be on one side or the other. Don't straddle the fence. Don't be so deceptive!!!!!

Review: Based on the previous complaints annotated against this company it appears that this is a scam to get you to give them money. It is disingenuous in its appearance and could easily fool a number of people into believing it is a real problemDesired Settlement: This is not only for me - I don't think that this "company" should be allowed to operate any longer or they should be made to change their letter into the offer to consolidate debt that it really is. Using scare tactics and the "promise" that it will reduce debt makes me think that they won't even do that - that they are just scam artists attempting to get money for nothing.

Review: Complete scam had no information on the debt. Fraudulent claim of a dedt that they say I may or may not have. They do not know who is trying to collect a debt and will settle for only half. Wife was very upset thinking we owed thousands of dollars when we do not.Desired Settlement: No further contact by this business.

Review: This company contacted me through mail stating that I owe $60,000 to my creditors and they would offer me a settlement offer of $30,000 if I don't contact them by March [redacted], 2016 with the reference number 0129A-46576, be ready to verify my account balances, and respond to phone number ###-###-#### on a 36 month program @ $900 it will be reported to the National Consumer reporting agencies. All of my accounts are current and have no knowledge of this company.

Thank you

Benjamin HowardDesired Settlement: This company no longer use my contact information for a Scam

Review: I received a letter from this company stating, "We are aware of your current financial situation." The letter goes on to state, "Once we have been contacted, we will have authorization to facilitate a settlement offer of $10,000 on your behalf directly with your creditors." Goes on to say I can setup a 36 month program at $300.

I have never heard of this company and have not contacted them. They use the phrase, "According to our records..." I have not authorized them to make any inquires on my behalf nor have I authorized any creditors to release information to them.

I consider this to be a scam to trick unsuspecting people and the elderly out of millions of dollars.

Review: Received a deceptive letter printed on red paper with "IMPORTANT FINAL NOTICE" in bold letters across the top. The letter starts "Our previous attempt to contact you have been unsuccessful. (bold), This letter is being sent to you one last time before you are no longer deemed eligible for help by this office." This is a completely fictional letter and a pure advertisement, or rather junk mail that makes the suggestion of a financial problem where there is none.Desired Settlement: Company should clearly state that the letter sent is an advertisement and should cease this type of repeated, unsolicited contact.

Review: I received a letter stating that I owed 11,000 in debt for credit card...saying it was a second notice....they would put me on a monthly payment program for 165.00 a month until its payed off.I do not owe any one anything...I want to know how and where they get my personal information and assign me a personalized website.I am very upset about this situation!Desired Settlement: This is a scam....I feel sorry for people that would fall for it.Especially the elederly.

Review: I received a letter from Debt Services Corp. The letter is highly deceiving. The letter uses an eagle type image made to look very much like a government seal. The company name does NOT EXIST anywhere on the letter. I called the phone number to get the company name in order to complain.Above my name, the letter reads: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS 2ND NOTICE REQUESTED (which, given the look and feel of the letter, is easily read as "REQUIRED").Next, the first line after "Dear [redacted]," reads "On 11/**/2013 we sent you a notice and still have not heard back from you" all in bold. The effect of the letter gives the reader the impression of a government notice that requires action. In fact, this is a solicitation and I did respond to the first one: I threw it out. The letter is intentionally deceiving and intentionally makes it hard to even determine who sent it.Desired Settlement: I think this company should have to mark plainly on the letter two things: who the sender is AND that this is a solicitation.

Review: I received a letter stating I owe a large sum and I need pay them or arrange payments. I don't owe anyone that amount. I tried to call but always busy.Desired Settlement: I would like this kind of harassment to stop.
