I am filing a complaint reguarding a request to get information on our financial debt situation.A ladie named *** told me we were in the right place we thought we were dealing with *** .We were e-mailed what information we would need after telling all debts we needed help with.We were told they can diffently help us first we would have to pay $1500.00 and could do so in 3 installments.I informed them we didn't have that kind of money.so we were told they cant go forward with out full payment,So not paying a bill or 2 and borrowed from a friend we managed to come upwith $1300.00 we made the deposit to their bank account at *** on the 29 th of October we have the receipt.I than called and asked if we can go forward while trying to get the other $200.oo we were told not until full amount paid could we have a conference call with their trustee.We borrowed the $200.oo we made the second deposit about 2 or 3 days later at this point we had e-mailed them information they kept asking for more we spent days and gas we could not afford to go and fax information all along we are still thinking we were dealing with ***.Finaly there was a 3 way conference call with the Trustee.from there we had more requests for info.that Debt Care Canada did not ask for more running around but dealing with *** trustee ***. I had a question so I called *** and was informed all info e-mailed to trustee I called *** a number of times and same thing all sent to *** and to call her. We finally had a meeting at *** with trustees to sign and go over debt information.This is where we found out they were 2 different companies and did not receive any funds or pay any funds to Dept care.We 100% were shocked as what Debt Care did was referred us to ***. So we were not informed at any time we were dealing with a referral company leaving us to belive we were meeting with their trustee.I had at one point told *** this running around was causing me a lot of stress and anxiety she said don't worry *** you are doing great .She never once said anything to let us now that they are no part of ***.At the meeting something was said not sure but it made me ask about what part of the funds we paid did they get to our surprise the answer was none they are any part of ***. So I asked what did we pay for? All we know is we did all the work and Debt Care just referred us we were not aware of this information they have no connection with *** not on their pay roll nothing.WE certainly feel ***/for sure miss informed.AS far as it goes this Debtcare company miss informed us took advantage ***.Once they got the $1500.Than the 3 way call their job was done.They did nothing except forward e-mails and faxes.Info we sent them so they could get us to the Trustee.We didn't have to deal with them at all if they had of let us know they were not *** as that is who I was calling.The bank account was deposited to a company called DEBTCARE at .All was wrong about this until we had a meeting at
