[redacted] ***,Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionAfter reviewing the complaint we are not sure why Ms [redacted] is under the impression that her estimated program time frame was exact as all clients are informed both verbally and contractually in writing that payoffs and timeframes are estimates only and can be higher or lower and longer or shorterI have requested a copy of her contract from archives and will be providing documentation of the estimation in a following emailThe service provider tried talking to her on March 3rd about the matter Also she responded to one of the providers e-mail surveys expressing her concern and they called her several times in attempt to resolve the matter The providers notes indicate that they tried several times to (re-explain) to her that the time frames are just estimates but she did not want to hear itCurrently the vast majority of her debt has been resolvedPlease advise client of an urgent matter ASAPA payoff arrangement was made with First Mark Credit Union and a payment is owed on April 24thSince she froze her account the payment will not be made and after April 24th First Mark will then expect the full balance rather than the discounted payoff arranged for herEven if she does not want to continue with the program it would be greatly in her best interest to contact Advantage Legal Center ASAP so this account can be resolvedPlease contact me with any questions or concerns at [redacted] or [redacted]

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: After reading *** ***'s e mail to you, I do need to set something's straightTo start with, I did contact ALC and Debt pay GatewayI requested copies of the debt that has been paid and the ones that have not been taken care ofI also requested a copy of the breakdown of my account with them to see where my money has gone toI wanted an itemized breakdown to see for myself what is being done for me and what is being done for themselves with this moneySo far the money that was taken from my account has paid for the smaller accounts and don't know who is still owedI called Debt pay Gateway and left them a message regarding my account balance there alsoI explained in my message what my concerns were, and left my number for a call backNever got one and the copies that were sent from ALC was missing the main one that I requested with the breakdown of the accounts and total money in my account and where it has gone to. I resent the request for the missing copy and told them it was blankTo this day I have not gotten anything from them and am still in the dark on the money matterI don't feel that I am asking for too much and need to see this for my selfAlso, the amount that has been paid out does not even come close to the amount that has gone in*** claims that the payment for First Mark will not be made because I froze my account and makes it sound as though there is no money thereWhen I talked to the last debt specialist he was worried that they were having to return the money in my accountI told him that I did not want it back, and to keep it there until it ran out and to pay as much of the balance on the bank debtI have not heard from him after that.I also told him that when I get my breakdown to see for my self I would let him know weather I would quit or re open to let them keep paying till the endMy question is why so long for a response from Debtpoint? Even you the Revdex.com were not successful in getting in touch with them, you even closed the matter due to no response back in March. As for his claims that I was informed in writing and verbally about the contract being an estimation could not be farther from the truthThe agent that signed us up was in a big hurry to sign us on that we did not read the whole contract he just kept saying that we needed to get it done before the of December. That is the reason we signed and handed the money to him on the 11thWhere he kept stating that after the three years we were done! As I stated before I asked more than once and got the same reassurance from himI felt great and thought I had done something good for usNow, many regrets, WITH NO END, so it seems. Regards,*** *** ***

[redacted],Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. After reviewing the complaint we are not sure why Ms. [redacted] is under the impression that her estimated program time frame was exact as all clients are informed both verbally and contractually in writing that payoffs and timeframes are...

estimates only and can be higher or lower and longer or shorter. I have requested a copy of her 2011 contract from archives and will be providing documentation of the estimation in a following email. The service provider tried talking to her on March 3rd about the matter.  Also she responded to one of the providers e-mail surveys expressing her concern and they called her several times in attempt to resolve the matter.  The providers notes indicate that they tried several times to (re-explain) to her that the time frames are just estimates but she did not want to hear it. Currently the vast majority of her debt has been resolved. Please advise client of an urgent matter ASAP. A payoff arrangement was made with First Mark Credit Union and a payment is owed on April 24th. Since she froze her account the payment will not be made and after April 24th First Mark will then expect the full balance rather than the discounted payoff arranged for her. Even if she does not want to continue with the program it would be greatly in her best interest to contact Advantage Legal Center ASAP so this account can be resolved. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at [redacted] or [redacted]

[redacted],   Thank you for helping resolve this matter.   I am sending a second email after this one forwarding a very detailed audit that was indeed sent to Ms. on January 30, 2015. Ms. [redacted] did not respond after receiving the audit. I have obtained a copy of Ms. [redacted]’s contract from December 7, 2011. With her permission I can send you a copy of her contract. I can otherwise resend her a copy her contract if she would like. In the contract on page 3, section number 2 it states “ALC will estimate the amount of time and money needed to resolve your debt, but an estimate is not a guarantee. The actual size of any debt reduction and the actual length of time that will be needed to negotiate a specific settlement or to complete the program are not guaranteed.”   This is again repeated on page 6 section d. “Client understand that specific results cannot be predicted or guaranteed by attorney. Summaries of the funds required for the program, monthly savings, and the specified period of time to complete the program were solely based on best estimate bases. Client understand the outcome of Attorney services cannot be guaranteed and individual results will vary.”   Also this was explained to her both by our representative and by the law firm prior to acceptance.  ALC is happy to continue to assist her but she needs to contact them ASAP.   Sincerely, [redacted] Debt Point
