DVI is misleading individuals in an attempt to receive a respond to their mailed advertisement for high interest loans.
DVI is using windowed business envelopes that display the targeted individuals name, address and the words “final notice”. The envelope deceives individuals into thinking that they are receiving a past due bill. The letter within the envelope is also misleading and contains phrases like “this is our final notice” and they even imply that they believe the recipient has “excessive credit card debt”.
This is misleading advertising.
The letter you received was simply an offer into our no advanced fee debt relief program. It is not a high interest loan offer. The mailer is generic (standard) in nature with generalized eligible debt ranges. When our final mailer is sent, it states final notice.
Our program provides a great benefit to many consumers dealing with hardships by assisting them with settling their credit card debt. We base our estimated balances from a statically derived process based on median household income in a particular area.
At this time, we have removed your information from our future mailing list. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at ***.

I am rejecting this response because:the letter is deceptive. This issue was not addressed. I’m not convinced that this business based in Texas should be allowed to continue to attempt to deceive hard working families in New York.

I am rejecting this response because:Until this business changes their deceitful tactic of printing the words “Past Due” on their envelopes, I will adamantly refuse their resolution. The tactic is meant to deceive *** into thinking that they need to contact this “business” for a high interest loan or suffer the consequences that is implied by the phrase “past due”. This “business” is taking advantage of families who may be falling behind on their bills due to the pandemic. If necessary, my next step is to contact the *** Attorney Generals office.

Repeatedly sending unauthorized mailings to me trying to get my business. I have asked them to remove from mailing list BUT THEY THINK I am not serious. I am. I want the mailings to stop bottom line. In talking with them he was not even going to take my name. These people are unreal. I do not want any mailings any calls I am on national do not call list so this should tell them I am serious. I do not even know how they got my name and address but sure regret they did. They need to know people are tired.

We would have only sent a letter and would not have contacted you by phone. That is probably another company calling you.
