DebitWave is amazing! Everything they said would happen, DID! My accumulated debt is shrinking, and I watch my credit rating is getting better! I wish I would have used them earlier on! I recommend DebitWave to everyone!

Please find our response to complaint # [redacted] below: On July 9, 2014, the Client contacted DebtWave to change their address as they had moved from Maine to VirginiaWhen a client’s state changes our software automatically updates their monthly service fee to assure we are compliant with the guidelines of their respective state The state of Maine allows licensed credit counseling agencies such as DebtWave to charge 15% of the client’s monthly payment but no greater than $ The state of Virginia allows us to charge 15% of the client’s monthly payment but no greater than $ Therefore, when the state changed from Maine to Virginia, our software automatically changed the fee from $to $Upon seeing this change of fee, a customer service representative erroneously contacted the client on July 14, and advised them the fee had increasedA supervisor immediately got involved and changed the fee back to the original $The client decided to cancel two hours later despite the immediate correction We would like to apologize again to the client for the inconvenient phone call from our customer service representativeIt is not our policy to increase fees simply because a client has moved to a different state It is an extremely rare occurrence to have a client move states and have their calculated fee increasedOur supervisor quickly caught the mistake and the client was never charged the higher fee We feel this matter was already resolved prior to their formal complaintAnd since the client was never charged any fees higher than the $listed on their agreement, there are no fees to returnAll payments the client has made to DebtWave have been properly disbursed and posted to the client’s creditorAgain, there are no funds to return to the client
I have been with Debtwave for about three years and I can truly say that I wouldn't have paid down my bills and would have seen a difference if it wasn't for Debtwave I would recommend them to anyone who wants help in paying their debts I don't have to worry about them getting paid, because Debtwave does it for me
I would have never been able to pay my debt so quickly without debt wave they were able to get the credit card companies lower their interest , so it was easier to pay off
Debtwave has been a great company to work withThey are easy to get in touch with and easy to access information about how the account is shrinking in personal debt It's really helped my wife and I get our debt under controlSo my experience has been very positive
My counselor/Chris [redacted] is the best - follows up on old issues and presents new ideas They've really helped us get our credit card financials in order No pressure! Just good solid, usable information and billing arrangements that work
We were disappointed by Debtwave, and it's customer serviceWe were told the program would improve our credit – not so After being enrolled in DebtWave for about months, we were reviewing our mortgage account with our bank, we were to told that our card debt had been reported as in "collections" due to having a DebtWave account The bank’s explanation was that major lenders review DebtWave as a collection agencyAfter enrolling with DebtWave program, we are now considered a high risk and were told that we would be considered high risk for months after closing our DebtWave account Our credit rating has dropped dramatically; we would never recommend DebtWave
Debtwave has truly turned my life aroundI had alot of debt and my counselor A Q worked with my creditors to reduce my interest rate which reduce my paymentThe creditors wouldn't work with meThey make my payments on time and I can see the light at the end of the tunnelThanks debtwave for your friendly and professional staffYou guys are truly amazing
