Work was not completedDEC never paid the flooring subcontractor, so he refuses to finish the workWe were charged $to have a temp tarp placed on our roof

Will not, after requested, send a copy of their work order Unsure that they completed their work
On June 1, 2016Contact plumber due to pool of water next to our faucet in the back of the mobile home He repaired the ice maker line but claimed their was damage and mold underneath the refrigerator He contacted DEC ConstructionOn June 3rd, the manager of the *** office came to review the damage and give an estimate He was using a smartphone to enter his data He couldn't give us a written work order The next day, his work crew came to set up the heating unit I called the Oxford office (XXX-XXX-XXXX), requested he email me the work order Gave him my email addressOn the 8th, work crew supervisor, *** *** claimed they finished the job He didn't have any receipts to give me to show proof of payment (other than my cancelled check) I insisted he make one on a piece of my own paper. On the 13th, called Oxford, again Gave the manager my email address, ***

We had a house fire in September of (please note that it is now February 2018) The last time I even had contact with anyone from the Oxford office was in September of 2017, when I was told there would be a follow up about the leaky roof that was less than a year oldStill waiting on that callBy the way, the roof now has leaked in yet another spotDid I mention that this is supposed to be the new roof? I mean, it's not- they literally replaced the half that burned, but THAT is the half that is leaking
In addition to it taking and a half months to even get back into my house for repairs that I was told would take no more than months to make, the work was never completedI never had the sand blasting to clean off the soot, the laundry room (which was supposed to have been completely rebuilt but was not) was never sealed properly and since they left burned studs in the walls, it smells like smoke whenever it rainsThe bathroom was left unfinished, but since they finally got the framing around the window done after we had already been back in the house for almost months, I guess I should be happy with that much at leastThe "new" exterior paint is peeling, but then again much of that was put on burned wood, soI never had the front window replaced- just a new piece of glassThey never returned or reimbursed me for my entertainment center that they claimed didn't clean up to their satisfaction (there was also a cleanliness issue with another cabinet that I argued with them to get back and a fridge, which they DID replace) I also had to specifically ask for my preserved wedding dress back, which was returned months AFTER the rest of our textiles wereOddly enough, it had been been removed from the plastic and box
I think our final tally of project managers was at by the time we moved back in, and some of the sub contractors that were hired were questionable at best.It was explained to me that the breakdown was because the Birmingham company had started the repairs but the project was later turned over to the Oxford companyEither way, interior painting was done in the dark and you can tell, the sheet rock was never sanded in places, and we won't even talk about the fact that they put putty over a vinyl tree on the wall and never sanded it downAlso, the chair railing in the living room was put back up on one side with a staple gunDo you think they put putty in the holes? They never painted the interior doors or even put all of the hardware back on themOh- and my favorite part- the electrical re-wiring didn't pass code the first time, so whoever that was subcontracted out to had to come back out again, at which point they apparently connected old wire that was never removed with new wire and all the lights went off the first night we moved back in
Truthfully, I feel that the bulk of the repairs that WERE made were done so because I kept on themFor example, the exterior doors that I wanted were not the ones sent, so I had to complain to make sure they were orderedFinally ONE of them wasI just made do with the other and I don't really know if all of our belongings were returned or not, as they were moved into a storage building since the repairs weren't completeI do know that several of my clothing items that were supposedly dry cleaned were not, and several things that were outside at the house went missing during the renovation process- including a rolling toolbox, a smoker, a grill, and a bicycle from our outbuilding
I will say that my hardwood floors were refinished beautifully- so there's a positive, right?

The back of my cabinet was torn out unnecessarily and not repairedI have requested six times to have it addressed, but my call is never returned
On December 20, 2017, DEC was called by my plumber to give an evaluation of water damage after our dishwasher hosing leaked under the kitchen sink I was told by Adam, the employee who visited to evaluate, that there was 100% water damage to the wood and insulation behind and that all of the cabinets would have to be torn out and replaced I believed his evaluation and told him to proceed I watched his team begin to tear out my cabinets and insulation and realized it was not trueThe wood and insulation were dry I told them to stop immediately and cancel the jobI saved everything they tore out and took pictures to document it was dry During the process, a water pipe was severed under the sink, completely wetting all of the attached cabinetry as well as the sub-flooring and basement They arranged for the pipe to be repaired and

On August 25th dec came to our home and gave us an estimate on drying our two bathroom floors , they left machines in our bathrooms month , we checked with other company's and it should have took hours to dry They were very rude , and they called our ins company to find out what our check was for and that's what they charged $4,, there is no way it cost that to dry a floor for hoursWe told them we wanted to get other estimates and they came and got their machines and left and sent us this bill ! We tried to contact them about what we owed which should only be bout $dollars , we have estimates from other company's for the work they only did , that's what it should cost .now they have turned it over to collections and will not talk to us , the check we received was for to fix both bathrooms not just for drying floor and we had to get rid of mold and they wanted the whole check for just that and we needed them to do all the work and they did not We feel we
