DeCastro Roofing Inc

Review: The vendor, DeCastro Roofing, has given us several different times over several different days to come and repair the flashing on our roof that has come off during a period of rain. The absence of a flashing raises the risk that at some point water will start to come into the house. As per the contract with DeCastro, who put this roof on our house recently, he is required to repair it at no charge. My wife and I have taken time off from work to be at home when he arrives and in each case he (or one of his workers) has failed to show up.

When I finally expressed exasperation at this behavior I received a series of insulting text messages from him. In fact, since the owner (who goes by the name of [redacted] believes in communicating only via text messages I have in my possession a full written record of the full exchange over several days -- the evasions, the untruths, and finally the abuse.Desired Settlement: Due to the owner's unprofessional behavior we would prefer not to deal with this company. However as per our contract he is required to take care of this job. We wish to have him contract another firm to take care of this repair and to bear the cost.
