Decision Point lacks a clear vision of what their recovery/treatment plan is There is a serious lack of communication between residential and treatment center staff membersThere is no follow up care, equine therapy, DBT, CBT, in-house gym, rock climbing, weekly individual and family sessions, and they will lie about your progress to familyMy insurance company was over billed by thousandsLook elsewhere if you're serious about getting help for an addiction problem

I submitted a request for information about a placement quite some time ago for a young man I am a guardian forThey never replied in any way I even used the Revdex.com request information siteVery unprofessionalI imagine if they treat I'm formation requests like that they probably don't treat their patients any better

My son , 20 years old, was under the care of Decision Point Center for heroin addiction. He was there for 4 1/2 months and remains in a sober living facility now. We chose Decision Point because they had a good reputation and the majority of patients they treat are heroin addicts between the age of 20 and 30 years old. We knew that our son needed to start over and needed a new sober peer group. Decision Point gave us our son back and was responsible for helping him to see the trap that heroin sets for it's victims. He has been clean and sober for over 9 months and came out of treatment with many tools to help him manage his addiction and also the stress of everyday living. He now has a wide circle of sober friends and is beginning to live his life as a productive, honest and happy person. While someone's own recovery depends on their readiness and their own resolve to change, we own a lot to Decision Point.

This is one of the many addiction treatment centers in Prescott, AZ and is not providing the services it advertises. My daughter was a client from December 2013 to January 2014. In the company's literature and the agreed treatment plan the following services / treatments were promised but never provided;

1. Equine Therapy - was not available although featured on their website and our agreed treatment plan

2. Dialectical Behavior Therapy - DBT - not provided due to lack of staff trained in this modality

3 Outdoor Adventure Trips - 2 of 3 were cancelled due to lack of staff

4 Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) - not provided

In addition this center unilaterally decided to discharge my daughter and would not process a refund for the days we had paid for.
