Review: I hired Deck Savers to build a new deck on my home and construction began Nov 14, 2013. Weather was bad for much of the project. The main problem is with the Dry Space that was installed under this 2nd story deck. It was not properly installed based on the response I received from the Dry Space mfg. [redacted] and thus I have leaks and water that runs back up the panels missing the rain gutter and flooding the patio which is below the deck. Dry Space is designed to keep the patio dry. When they returned in April to attempt to fix the problems they had to remove two of the railing posts. In doing so they drilled out the screw covers on the rails that have yet to be replaced. One of the railing posts was not put back level, leaks still occur in a few areas along the house. The Dry Space panel and joist channels were to be flared at the ends which was not done and thus as I said the water runs back up the panels. One other problem is a loose railing post caused by one of the lag bolts not hitting the post when it was driven through the deck frame. I have contacted [redacted] many times and he promises to send workers to fix the problems yet it is now mid July and no one has contacted me.Desired Settlement: Fix the problems immediately

Review: Deck Savers came to stain my deck and oversprayed the stain into my new [redacted] air conditioner. This resulted in the paint getting into the condenser coils and I had to have my HVAC repair company come in to clean the unit. Deck Savers was negligent as they did not use a tarp to cover the unit. I was also not advised prior to service that the unit should have been shut off.Desired Settlement: I have not made payment to Deck Savers as of yet. The bill came to $370.00, however, the bill came to $357.00 for the HVAC company to come out and clean the unit. The unit did not come completely clean and some of the residual paint is still on the coils. I think it is fair that the business will not charge us for the service due to negligence and also pay for the damage done.
