Can't say enough positive things about this company and owner. They responded quickly and performed wonderful work on badly damaged beach home purchased. Everyone from owner to office staff and service employees are A plus. They come every six months to check our roof deck and highly recommend them

Review: DeckTech employees came to my home for a bid on a deck repair. Company failed to conduct a simple water test to determine where the rain water leak was entering our home. Workers then cut 6 access holes in the porch deck surface and stucco walls. Four other contractor have not bid on this repair work have all stated that they could not understand why Decktech cut into the existing deck flooring and walls to inspect the damage, when in fact there is no damage in these areas. We are now required to have major surface repairs completed if we want the deck flooring to all look uniform. All four of the other contractors stated that the decking surface was in sound condition, with the exception of the access holes that DeckTech cut out. What would have been a simple inexpensive repair job has now turned out to be a $4,522.00 patch job repair. We have asked DeckTech to repair the damaged caused to our deck floor & walls and then install a new matching surface (color of our choice) at no charge or pay the 54,522.00 for the repair of damage to the contractor that will complete the repairs and resurfacing. At this time, DeckTech has not answered our phone calls, emails or registered letter.Desired Settlement: See Complaint Text

Decktech has an accusation filed against their license for violations of the Business& professions code. Six specific accusations ranging from taking illegal deposits, failing to provide lien releases, getting paid more than the work they completed and abandoning the job.
