I have tried to call the Revdex.com several times to respondI have left messages and have had no responseI do not do well with computers, so I thought I could call to respond I went to this customer's house to do a sand and seal of her deck and replace the fronts of steps Here is my response: My price is $a piece for the front tread each step times that was the $above the $for the sand and seal of the surface of the deck The fronts of the steps were chewed up by years of hitting them with a weed eater, dogs chewing on them, etc She asked me when I first got there, “what can we do about the FRONTS of the stairs looking so bad.” So I said we can replace the fronts for $eachShe agreed to that she mentioned the one stringer (left side) was chipped and she said "let’s just put a piece of wood on the side of it to fix it and cover that up," I did just what she asked I was asked to sand and seal the surface of the deck I didn’t clean all the Lindon seeds, toilet paper or rotten card board, years dog hair, twigs and years of debris between the cracks I don’t dig this out when we aren’t painting a deck I stained her deck Sand and seal the surface, this is what she agreed to I told her when I first got there that her deck looked like tree bark, and the sander can only do so muchShe laughed and said “yea, we haven’t done anything to this deck in years and years." She was happy with the job until her brother in law went to her house and said the “carpenter’ should have replaced all those stairs and cleaned out between those cracks A curious neighbor stopped by to see what was going on and he thought the deck was looking greatHe noticed how the deck looked where I hadn’t sanded it yet, and agreed it looked like tree bark Her entire house and yard were in disrepairShe obviously never takes care of anything She is the type of person who eats 3/of a meal at a restaurant, and then complains just to get the meal for free This is what she is doing to me, using the Revdex.com to get something for free The job was done exactly as discussed, and even turned out better than expected because of how HORRIBLE the deck looked to begin withThere was no actual contract written up just a verbal agreement and a handshake We agreed to a red tinted stain The wood was SO old, it "drank" the stain right up She was expecting it to look brand new, but that isn’t possible given the age and complete disrepair her deck was in I never said I would scrape the years and years of sheer trash and debris out of the cracksIt was well established up front that I sand the surface of the deck and seal it with a Super Deck product, She knew the exact work I told her I would do on the deck as well as on the stairsShe agreed to the front tread replacement and the sand and sealing of the deck surface I told her “since you are getting out of paying the contractor the agreed upon $good luck with Karma” She somehow thought this was a threat and she claimed to have contacted one of her “law enforcement friends” who told her to have “no contact with Mr [redacted] .” That was in no way a threat Apparently she has never heard of what good and bad Karma means She claims she offered me $ That $early covers the const of materials She even mentioned she did not feel I was there long enough to warrant the full price She told me "no one should be earning that much money" in the hours I was there She agreed to the $up front It all boils down to she didn't think I had put in enough hours to "earn" that kind of money, yet she agreed on a price before I started

I have tried to call the Revdex.com several times to respond. I have left messages and have had no response. I do not do well with computers, so I thought I could call to respond.  I went to this customer's house to do a sand and seal of her deck and replace the fronts of 3 steps.  Here is my...

response: 1. My price is $30 a piece for the front tread each step times 3 that was the $90 above the $1200 for the sand and seal of the surface of the deck.  The fronts of the steps were chewed up by years of hitting them with a weed eater, dogs chewing on them, etc.  She asked me when I first got there, “what can we do about the FRONTS of the stairs looking so bad.” So I said we can replace the fronts for $30 each. She agreed to that.    2. she mentioned the one stringer (left side) was chipped and she said "let’s just put a piece of wood on the side of it to fix it and cover that up," I did just what she asked.  3. I was asked to sand and seal the surface of the deck.  I didn’t clean all the Lindon seeds, toilet paper or rotten card board, years dog hair, twigs and years of debris between the cracks.  I don’t dig this out when we aren’t painting a deck.  I stained her deck.  Sand and seal the surface, this is what she agreed to.  4. I told her when I first got there that her deck looked like tree bark, and the sander can only do so much. She laughed and said “yea, we haven’t done anything to this deck in years and years."  5. She was happy with the job until her brother in law went to her house and said the “carpenter’ should have replaced all those stairs and cleaned out between those cracks.    6. A curious neighbor stopped by to see what was going on and he thought the deck was looking  great. He noticed how the deck looked where I hadn’t sanded it yet, and agreed it looked like tree bark.  Her entire house and yard were in disrepair. She obviously never takes care of anything.   7. She is the type of person who eats 3/4 of a meal at a restaurant, and then complains just to get the meal for free.  This is what she is doing to me, using the Revdex.com to get something for free.   8. The job was done exactly as discussed, and even turned out better than expected because of how HORRIBLE the deck looked to begin with. There was no actual contract written up  just a verbal agreement and a handshake.  We agreed to a red tinted stain.  The wood was SO old, it "drank" the stain right up.  She was expecting it to look brand new, but that isn’t possible given the age and complete disrepair her deck was in.  I never said  I would scrape the years and years of sheer trash and debris out of the cracks. It was well established up front that I sand the surface of the deck and seal it with a Super Deck product, She knew the exact work I told her I would do on the deck as well as on the stairs. She agreed to the front tread replacement and the sand and sealing of the deck surface.  9. I told her “since you are getting out of paying the contractor the agreed upon $1300…good luck with Karma”  She somehow thought this was a threat and she claimed to have contacted one of her “law enforcement friends” who told her to have “no contact with Mr [redacted].” That was in no way a threat.  Apparently she has never heard of what good and bad Karma means.  10. She claims she offered me $500.  That $500 early covers the const of materials.  She even mentioned she did not feel I was there long enough to warrant the full price.  She told me "no one should be earning that much money" in the 6 hours I was there.  She agreed to the $1290 up front.  It all boils down to she didn't think I had put in enough hours to "earn" that kind of money, yet she agreed on a price before I started.
