Review: I had Deckers Gas Station repair a leak in my radiator, and they said, upon investigating the leak, that I needed a new radiator. I agreed to have a new radiator installed. They installed the radiator the same day, 9.3.14, and it the repairs costs were a little over $700.00 I take my car into my dealership for my routine multi-point vehicle inspection on 9/18/2014, and the service center said "transmission leak from radiator unsafe to drive". I advised that I just got a new radiator installed 2 weeks ago, and the service rep said "you need to take it back and have them fix the the transmission leak". I called Decker's and spoke with a service person and the owner on 2 separate occasions. They weren't able to get me in immediately as they were "too busy". So, I called back on another date to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me and spoke with the owner. He became very irate and confrontational with me, calling me "a liar" and that I had said there was a "power steering leak" and then after I disagreed that I had never said that, he said "I'm done with you, I'm done with this". I was very polite, and said "sir, I never said there was a "power steering leak". I said, I come to your shop often for repairs and have in the past, and just want you to look at this and fix the problem created. He said "if you think you're getting anything for free here you are wrong lady". I said, "i just want the problem corrected that was caused and that was delineated by my dealership [redacted]". He kept being confrontational and changing what I had said on my initial call to get an appointment (I hadn't spoken with him, I had initially spoken with his repair worker). He said "i'm done with you, don't call here", and then he hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like them to cover the cost of causing a transmission leak where they installed the radiator. That is all. I don't want them to do the repair either because now, I don't trust this man.

Response:
We at Deckers never herd from mrs. [redacted] until 2 weeks after we put a radiator
In her car. she was told to bring it in but it was never convient. We have been doing
business at the same location for over 55 years. Sorry there was a misunderstanding
But we did not work on the transmission. Some people are always trying to get something
For nothing if she would have came in we would surely looked at it. We were never
given a chance to even see the car.
Thank you
