upon return to mjm engines, after going to Mazda and learning that the problem was a problem mjm should have known about, and should have informed me about, the shop manager became verbally abusive, and unprofessional. he proceeded to call me "spineless" on several occasions, and "less than a man" for "going behind his back" and contacting the Revdex.com.  I had asked him the last time is was there on July 6, 2015, to give me an estimate of the cost of getting the car to run properly, that was the third time I was there, no reply. So even though, he found an issue the installer missed during the reinstall, it was a very minor problem, that  [redacted] auto fixed with no questions and very quickly. I then again, returned to mjm and he continued to make more excuses, instead of acting urgently to solve the problem.  that's when I went to Mazda. that's when mjm  told me to purchase a vvt pulley. After waiting for the part to come, of which, he had an opportunity to order quicker than myself, he proceeded to "stall" on fixing the car because I have called the finance company to also complain. his reasoning was "he had received what amounted to a charge-back from the finance company" which in fact, it was only an investigation letter. he is willing lie to make his unprofessional behavior valid. I have spoken to no less that three other  Mazda mechanics, of which all three had relayed to me the problem with this car was inside the engine, so whether or not the vvt was the problem he had a duty to inform me of the potential problem, then he let me chase my tail, all the while knowing what the problem was, NEVER, offering to fix it, even when I agreed to pay. In the more that thirty years dealing with any business, I have never been called out of my name, told they would  stall or should stall on a repair. I will be contacting all the other  licencing agencies to report this insane and ridicules behavior. I have already contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repair to do a thorough investigation of this repair. at this moment I really dont trust the car will run properly.  i wll also be forwarding a copy of this letter to any others. This shop should NOT have a Revdex.com, rating, let alone an "A".   here is a copy of a yelp complaint which shows the berating behavior of the manager..2/11/2015Do not bring your business here, paid over $4500 for a motor rebuild, vehicle broke down on the side of the road not even 500 miles/30 days later. They refused any responsibility and wanted to charge another $800 to repair what should have been replaced the first time. After trying to negotiate with [redacted] the manager, he became very insulting and disrespectful and pretty much told me to [redacted] off. Do NOT bring your business here! I should have read the reviews and believed them before.

On 8/20/2015 we delivered a rebuilt motor to [redacted] to install in one of their customers vehicles. The check they wrote to cover the cost of the motor was returned insufficient funds the following business day. On 9/4/2015 [redacted] contracted and authorized a tear down...

inspection in the amount of $1288.00 on their customers vehicle as they stated the motor did not run properly when installed. We removed the motor and discovered that they started the motor with no oil after installation. Because they had not paid us for the original motor we did not move forward with any repair work. When we contacted them for payment to finish the repair and collect the vehicle they claimed to have financial issues with their partner and put us off. In October my office manager was contacted by Mr. [redacted] because he wanted to know the status of his vehicle. At the time Mr. [redacted] never mentioned that he suspected that [redacted] was being dishonest and he mentioned that [redacted] told him the vehicle was at our shop for warranty work. Since we had no contract with him we suggested he call [redacted] for an update. On 12/4/2015 we filed a lien on the vehicle for non payment when we found that [redacted] had closed their business and had not made any attempt to pay us. The lien amount includes storage costs from 9/4/2015 and the original cost of the motor that we rebuilt. When I was contacted by Mr. [redacted] on 12/4/15 I notified him that I had placed the lien and was unable to collect from [redacted]t for the work that I had completed on his vehicle. I offered to drop the storage costs but asked for a total of $2900.00 which would include the cost of the motor and installation. He declined my offer and filed a complaint against me although I have never contracted any business with him. At this time I am also a victim of [redacted] going out of business and have not received any funds for the services I provided as well as having to store the vehicle on my premises for the past three months.

Wherever you buy a motor be it new or used they ask for money for the core, but when you return the core they return your money no questions/excuses asked unlike you all. You were asking for the core, now you have it, return my money. Why are you making so many excuses give me the money I deposited for the core.

en donde quiera que compras un motor reconstruido o nuevo te piden algo de dinero por el core pero cuando regresas el core te regresan el dinero para tras no estan poniendo excusas como ustedes, ustedes estaban preguntando por el core ahora ya tienen el core devuelvanme el dinero poque estan poniendo tantas excusas en donde quiera regresan el dinero entregando el core.
