Disappointed
Ordera roaring twenties dress from Deco Haus, and with no refunds given, expected superior quality dress, given the $400 price tag... what a complete disappointment when I finally received the dress. These are no better quality than the $45 dollar dresses I ordered from other companies online that offer returns, refunds, and just completely better overall customer service! Will NEVER order from them again, nor would I ever recommend them!

On October 13th, I ordered 3 dresses for my store from The Deco Haus. One of which was a special order for a customer. 3 weeks went by and I did not receive my dresses, so I contacted them. I explained one of them was for a customer and that I was very panicked they hadn’t arrived. The response I got was very snotty, indifferent and terse. She (Esme) said they had canceled my order because I used the wholesale discount code of “Stockist” on items that were already discounted. I had no way of knowing this. Furthermore, they just canceled my order without telling me. For 3 weeks my customer had been waiting for a dress that wasn’t coming. It was at this point that I told them in no uncertain terms that their customer service was horrible and I would have happily paid full price for the dress because it was for a customer. A sale/customer that was now lost because of them. She then replied claiming they sent me a cancellation email on October 18th along with a screen shot of their systems record keeping. The screen shot not only said the email went out the 13th, not the 18th, but it also clearly said “Customer changed/canceled order”. Not only is this completely false, but I know they didn’t send me an email bc I check my inbox and junk mail everyday and I went back through all my trash and it wasn’t there. In my first email it would have been obvious that I didn’t receive any notification of a cancellation prompting a little better response than just indifference about the situation they left me in with my customer. I did reorder the dress at that time because I was hoping to repair the situation with my customer, and AGAIN they canceled the order without informing me. Furthermore, several requests for the owner’s contact information have been ignored.
