They did a terrible job on the porch partially because they came out at night to do the work, not quite sure who does front porch work at night in the dark and then they never came back out and in my honest opinion I do believe they are not wanting to return because they know how bad of a job they did and it is probably going to cost this company more money to fix what they ruined then what they charged me to do the work and that is why they are not wanting to return to my homeAnd honestly I do not want them back at my home not after the way I was treated by this company I want a refund of my money so I may call someone else to come and fix what they ruined! I have added a few pictures of the front porch so you may see what I mean by my porch is all kinds of different colors and it should be one color and that is from them doing the work at night and apparently not knowing what they are doing in the first place Scan Picture Number - Is the email I received from their receptionist Kristy B [redacted] on 11/27/stating that they would return in early spring to complete the work, that the weather turned cold (it is November) and they cannot do the work in the coldAlso, just a reminder in this email nothing is stated about me still owing them any money before they will come back to complete the work Scan Picture Number - Signed contract of $for them to wash, antique and apply seal coatAt the bottom you can see a question mark next to recreate micro topping that was in question with them and was not stated I wanted that doneTherefore, the total contract was $571.84, a 50% deposit would be $I gave them a check (see scan picture number 119) of $which is more than halfAs with any business 50% deposit to do the work remainder of the money when work is completeTherefore , the $that is still unpaid is unpaid because the work was never completed and I am not paying full price for work that is not 100% done Scan Picture Number - This is Deco Systems of Maryland deposit slip of my $deposit which looks to be altered by them Scan Picture Number -This is a copy of my check that I gave themLuckily I do keep records of everything just in case something like this happens Scan Picture Number - This is a copy of the "email" that was submitted to the Revdex.com when I made my compliant that Deco Systems supposedly sent me on May 30, Now by this time I had tried numerous numerous attempts to get in contact with this company to find out when they were coming back out, they would never once return my callThey were actually screening my calls because I had someone else call and magically seconds later someone was there but then when I called back well guess they were gone againIn this email first the owner Stuart states that they will be out at the end of THIS month but the "email" is dated on May 30, and there is only days in May so therefore you were coming out the next day? No they weren't! And I do believe they are closed on Saturdays and May 31, was a SaturdayAlso, in this fake email as I call it Stuart states that I am in breach of contract and I owe them money and they will not come back out until I pay them what I owe themHe just contradicted himself because he was coming out the next day but now I'm in breach of contract and your not coming? Exactly why I say this is a fake email that he made up once the compliant was made with the Revdex.com to make himself look like they did not ignore me and not return any of my calls or emailsAlso, the other reason why I say this email is fake and made up by this business owner is because he clearly states that a compliant will be made with the Revdex.com the compliant wasn't made until June I do believe so how did he know about the compliant? Exactly again this is a made up email by the owner Stuart M [redacted] to make himself look like the customer was wrong and he was rightIf I did supposedly owe him money and I was in breach of contract then why wasn't it ever mentioned in any other email, why wasn't I contacted asking about the money that was owed to this company that puts me in breach of contractThe answer to that is simple there is no breach of contract on my end, I paid this company more than 50% for the deposit and the remainder of $is due upon completion of the jobWell the job is not complete so of course I am not going to pay the remainder of the money and on top of that you ruined my front porch if anything I shouldn't pay you another cent even if you did complete the job because you ruined my porch and made away with $of my moneyTo me that is a thief!! At this time all I am asking and all I was asking for is my $back because I do not want this company at my house again they apparently do not know what they are doing and they are very unprofessional and rude! Also, one more note to add I did speak with MrM [redacted] s wife on 7/24/at 4:p.mand at that time all I had asked of her was a refund of my $again nothing was ever stated that I owed them money her words to me were, "No! You will not get a refund and we will not be back to finish the job!" Also, I do believe she was a little upset because my daughter had put a review on social media for myself since I'm not familiar with computers, and MrsM [redacted] stated that I should not have done thatWell I am the customer and that is what it is there for so yes I will do it and have continued to put reviews on the Internet because I would hate to see this happen to another innocent customer If you need to get in contact with me my cell phone number is ###-###-#### and my husbands email is [redacted] or you may send it to this email which is my daughters Thank you so much for reopening this compliant and taking the time to help me Thank you, [redacted] Mount Airy, MD Cell: ###-###-#### Home: ###-###-#### Regards, [redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am...

rejecting this response because:From: <[redacted].com>Date: Mon, Nov 3, 2014 at 8:03 AMSubject: Compliant Number [redacted] - Reopening CompliantTo: [redacted].org
Good Morning Mrs. [redacted],
I had spoken to you a few weeks ago regarding a compliant I had made (compliant number [redacted]) against Deco Systems of Maryland. I did not realize when they responded back I only had so long to respond back and I do appreciated you reopening this compliant.
As stated in the original compliant Deco Systems of Maryland located at [redacted] Germantown, MD 20874 Phone Number: ###-###-####, had came out to my home in November of 2013 to wash, antique and apply coat of sealer on my front porch. The recreate micro topping (see signed proposal picture number 121) was in question I was unsure if I wanted that done. They came out and only did partial of the work because they informed me that it was to cold at that point to do anything else to the front porch probably because they waited so long to come out in the first place. You can see from my picture number 122 is the email from their receptionist confirming that all work was not complete and that they would return early spring to finish the work, and also please note in that same email there was never any mention of any money that we stilled owed them to come out to complete their job.
Right after they came and did my front porch it looked horrible. It is in 10 times worse condition after they did partial work than what it was before they came to my home. Please see pictures attached of my front porch which you can see is numerous different colors and it is suppose to be 1 (One) color! They did a terrible job on the porch partially because they came out at night to do the work, not quite sure who does front porch work at night in the dark and then they never came back out and in my honest opinion I do believe they are not wanting to return because they know how bad of a job they did and it is probably going to cost this company more money to fix what they ruined then what they charged me to do the work and that is why they are not wanting to return to my home. And honestly I do not want them back at my home not after the way I was treated by this company I want a refund of my money so I may call someone else to come and fix what they ruined!
I have added a few pictures of the front porch so you may see what I mean by my porch is all kinds of different colors and it should be one color and that is from them doing the work at night and apparently not knowing what they are doing in the first place.
Scan Picture Number 122 - Is the email I received from their receptionist Kristy B[redacted] on 11/27/2013 stating that they would return in early spring 2014 to complete the work, that the weather turned cold (it is November) and they cannot do the work in the cold. Also, just a reminder in this email nothing is stated about me still owing them any money before they will come back to complete the work.
Scan Picture Number 121 - Signed contract of $571.84 for them to wash, antique and apply seal coat. At the bottom you can see a question mark next to recreate micro topping that was in question with them and was not stated I wanted that done. Therefore, the total contract was $571.84, a 50% deposit would be $285.92 I gave them a check (see scan picture number 119) of $400.00 which is more than half. As with any business 50% deposit to do the work remainder of the money when work is complete. Therefore , the $187.84 that is still unpaid is unpaid because the work was never completed and I am not paying full price for work that is not 100% done.
Scan Picture Number 120 - This is Deco Systems of Maryland deposit slip of my $400 deposit which looks to be altered by them.
Scan Picture Number 119 -This is a copy of my check that I gave them. Luckily I do keep records of everything just in case something like this happens.
Scan Picture Number 118 - This is a copy of the "email" that was submitted to the Revdex.com when I made my compliant that Deco Systems supposedly sent me on May 30, 2014. Now by this time I had tried numerous numerous attempts to get in contact with this company to find out when they were coming back out, they would never once return my call. They were actually screening my calls because I had someone else call and magically 2 seconds later someone was there but then when I called back well guess they were gone again. In this email first the owner Stuart states that they will be out at the end of THIS month but the "email" is dated on May 30, 2014 and there is only 31 days in May so therefore you were coming out the next day? No they weren't! And I do believe they are closed on Saturdays and May 31, 2014 was a Saturday. Also, in this fake email as I call it Stuart states that I am in breach of contract and I owe them money and they will not come back out until I pay them what I owe them. He just contradicted himself because he was coming out the next day but now I'm in breach of contract and your not coming? Exactly why I say this is a fake email that he made up once the compliant was made with the Revdex.com to make himself look like they did not ignore me and not return any of my calls or emails. Also, the other reason why I say this email is fake and made up by this business owner is because he clearly states that a compliant will be made with the Revdex.com the compliant wasn't made until June 2014 I do believe so how did he know about the compliant? Exactly again this is a made up email by the owner Stuart M[redacted] to make himself look like the customer was wrong and he was right. If I did supposedly owe him money and I was in breach of contract then why wasn't it ever mentioned in any other email, why wasn't I contacted asking about the money that was owed to this company that puts me in breach of contract. The answer to that is simple there is no breach of contract on my end, I paid this company more than 50% for the deposit and the remainder of $187.84 is due upon completion of the job. Well the job is not complete so of course I am not going to pay the remainder of the money and on top of that you ruined my front porch if anything I shouldn't pay you another cent even if you did complete the job because you ruined my porch and made away with $400.00 of my money. To me that is a thief!!
At this time all I am asking and all I was asking for is my $400.00 back because I do not want this company at my house again they apparently do not know what they are doing and they are very unprofessional and rude!
Also, one more note to add I did speak with Mr. M[redacted]s wife on 7/24/14 at 4:00 p.m. and at that time all I had asked of her was a refund of my $400 again nothing was ever stated that I owed them money her words to me were, "No! You will not get a refund and we will not be back to finish the job!" Also, I do believe she was a little upset because my daughter had put a review on social media for myself since I'm not familiar with computers, and Mrs. M[redacted] stated that I should not have done that. Well I am the customer and that is what it is there for so yes I will do it and have continued to put reviews on the Internet because I would hate to see this happen to another innocent customer.
If you need to get in contact with me my cell phone number is ###-###-#### and my husbands email is [redacted] or you may send it to this email which is my daughters.
Thank you so much for reopening this compliant and taking the time to help me.
