Decolux USA

Sometime in Mid June 2019, I was contacted by a person named ***-He approached us as he supposedly was a trader of seconds roller blinds fabric. As the the call was made from USA I was of the belief that it can only be a genuine company. I said if I have a project I would wish to procure from him as cost wise it was a lucrative offer. He later sent me sample & we had a project and I placed the order on June 29th 2019 (Proforma invoice No. XXXXX dt 23 June 19). As the freight charges were working out to be extremely high from his end I decided to use my local freight forwarder to move the shipment.My Local agent had a tie up with LAVINSTAR AMERICA INC so they were handling the logistics from USA however when they went to collect the shipment *** stated the shipment was already collected, apparently the shipment was moved to some other place.Then there was the blame game that went on for a while after which Mr. *** stated he is trying to get the shipment back from the trukker who had taken it. Then he stated they are stating too much money to return the shipment and will be sending another lot of fabric as a replacement. In the interim I had to procure the fabric at thrice the price locally as my project delivery was due.
Then on 31st Oct 2019 he sent an email to my NEW forwarding agent stating he would contact us to let us know the location of pick up.After which my forwarding agent in UAE & their counter part in USA have sent several email and telephone calls but to no response. Finally we receive an email from him on Dec 19th 2019 that he had just returned from Korea and will prepare a new pallet of fabrics.
Today is January 13th 2020, 6 months since I did the full transfer of funds to Mr. and we are yet struggling to receive our materials.I am in complete loss moreover I now dont have the same confidence I would normally have from buying from USA. I have from so many USA companies & never had a problem just this. Please assist
