You can bet that they do not have a tape recording of the conversation.Why don't they make things right and replace and install our unit and this will all be over.Our next steps will be small claims court and reviews on *** * if this is not resolved.Thank you

This is a rip off company, they charge you a fee for buying their productThey advertised pictures for their products if you want to return it they charge you an extra restock fee of 20% and a shipping feeI suggest that you never buy anything from this company unless you have money to just give away!!!

Let the buyer beware...
Be sure to carefully inspect any fixtures that you have ordered from Decor Island. I unfortunately did not, and now I have a kitchen faucet that I am unhappy with. I was told that the item I was purchasing was all metal and it turns out much of it is made of plastic.

Review: I ordered a basket strainer/stopper and website stated that satisfaction guaranteed. When I received the item it did not fit my sink. I sent it back to the company by UPS. It has been several weeks. I tried to reach them by phone several times, customer service does not pick up the phone. We cannot contact them at all. When I went on website, I saw there were other complains by customers. I am stuck and cannot get a credit.

The following letter is written in regards to case id # [redacted] . Our records indicate that this customer returned item back to our vendor without a return number because that was done that delayed the process on our end to issue the credit. As of today 07/**/2013 we show a credit of $13.22 was credit back to customer master card, the refund amount reflects the amount of item the shipping and handling is not refundable. Attached is original invoice and credit memo.

Review: Found Gerber sink online. Specifications included concealed carrier and arm support. On 08/**, phoned Decor Island to confirm that these items were included with the sink. They did confirm that it was. Proceeded to order item online same day. Received shipment and only sink was shipped. On 09/** called Decor Island and spoke with [redacted] to advise them of the missing parts. He indicated that those items had a separate charge. Explained to him that the items were included under the specifications of the item online, even advised him of my call I made to confirm that they did. He was adamant that they were not included and that there was an additional charge for them items. I asked [redacted] why under the specifications, these items were not followed by a "sold separately" or "not included". He redirected my question with another question and an answer was never given. Decor Island also advertises 100% Match price guarantee. Got a quote from another vendor and asked [redacted] from Decor Island to match it. He refused to match and told me that there was no way we could get this sink with the carrier and arm support for a lesser cost. He did not even ask for proof of the quote. Lastly, they advertise Hassle Free Returned. I requested return shipping information to send back the sink. Only after 10 minutes of arguing with me did [redacted] give me that information then indicated that I would have to pay for the return shipment and reimbursement will be given for the price of the sink ONLY. The shipping cost would not be reimbursed.Desired Settlement: Would like Decor Island to pay for the concealed carrier and arm support that I had to purchase from another vendor. My cost for that was $172.49

Our records indicate that this customer placed her ordered online and not through our sales department on the phone. After customer received the item she called saying the item was missing the mounting hardware to install the sink and she was under the impression it was included, but she was mistaken. Because of the misunderstanding we offered her the wall brackets for the item and our cost price at $300.00 but she wanted the item for no charge. We went ahead and explained that there was an available accessory listed on the item page and she missed it and we are sorry and we can offer a full credit or the part for our cost, at that time she claimed her contractor can get the sink and bracket for the same price she paid for the sink which we were un able to match because its below our cost. This customer was emailed return instruction for a full refund as of today she did not return the item or send a tracking number that it was returned, customer is requesting that we send her a return label for item but because we are giving a full refund we cannot do that .

On, or around, January [redacted], 2015 we purchased a Delta kitchen faucet and accessories online from Decor Island. We are unhappy with the quality of the merchandise we purchased with our USAA MC. The material is not what they described to us on the phone. After installation the plumber said that the unit was a piece of junk. We contacted the seller and they would not cooperate with us. They said that because we no longer have the packaging that there is nothing they can do. Actually, they were quite rude about the whole transaction.

I hope you can help us.

Here is the letter we wrote after trying to contact them a couple of times:

Dear Decor Island,

I called last week.

We purchased a Delta single lever widespread kitchen faucet from you online.

(It is one of these models from the enclosed booklet: 155-DST, 1980-DST, 4380-SD-DST, 11946-SD-DST). We purchased it online from Decor Island LLC on January *, 2015 for $220.82.

We also paid $130 to have it installed by our reliable and professional, licensed plumber.

That having been said, we are VERY upset. The faucet is poorly designed, the HOT/COLD icon keeps popping out, the main lever wobbles and is always loose, it has to be perfectly center-aligned for it to stop dripping... just to name a few problems we have.

Not only that, you told us it was all metal and it is not. It's mostly chrome plastic.

We thought that DELTA made quality products, but we were mistaken...and you sold it to us. This is a piece of JUNK. We want our money back and we want you to also cover our plumbing expenses because we need to remove this unit and get a better one. This unit will not last a month and this is a terrible inconvenience (By the way---it is already broken)

If we do not get our money back and a refund for plumbing services, we will make sure that the online community knows that you do not stand behind the products you sell to the public. We are fuming. My lawyer has been copied on this correspondence.

Please tell us what you intend to do.

Review: I received the wrong item. I was supposed to get an elongated toilet seat riser, CHURCH ELONGATED CLOSED FRONT MOLDED WOOD SEAT WITH COVER

Item Number: 7F585EC 000 I received a round riser, which obviously does not fit my toilet. I also bought a replacement regular seat and this one came elongated as needed. This product is 140.00. I also had to pay 77 dollars in brokerage fees from [redacted]. My receipt also shows that the elongated is the one I should have received.Desired Settlement: I want to receive a new elongated toilet seat riser as I should have received. In order not to pay extra fees, I want Decor Island to send me a new toilet seat riser, free of charge (with zero dollars and clearly stating it is an exchange on the bill) so I do not have to pay brokerage or taxes twice on this product. Once I receive it, I will then send back the round toilet seat.

This is a rip off company, they charge you a fee for buying their product. They advertised false pictures for their products if you want to return it they charge you an extra restock fee of 20% and a shipping fee. I suggest that you never buy anything from this company unless you have money to just give away!!!

Review: I ordered a sink (via. telephone) from this company; gave my credit card info. as requested. They were very prompt in sending a do not reply e-mail about my order, in which it had some e-mail addresses if I needed to contact them. The pending charge appeared on my bank statement almost immediately. Over the course of the next few days, we have had a serious illness in our family which has resulted in a death. During this time I tried to call several times, most of the time I was on hold and then the phone would disconnect. I tried to e-mail without any reply. When I did finally get someone it was the same man I placed the order with. I explained my situation and needed to cancel the order, was advised I could not cancel as this order was coming from a Canadian warehouse, still no shipping info. was offered. The bank charge disappeared from my checking account and I felt it was cancelled on their end. All of a sudden I receive a shipping notice that the sink was due to arrive on Fri. I called and got no response, I sent an E-mail explaining my situation again, and saying that the order would be refused with UPS and returned. I have had no word again from this company. I put a note on the door for UPS with the refusal, they have picked up the sink and it is in transit back to the company with a refusal. The latest is that the company has put through the charge on my checking account. I will contact the bank to dispute the charge.Desired Settlement: Remove the entire charge from my checking account, the merchandise was returned by UPS.

As per our phone records this customer called on 6/**/2013 requesting to cancel the order and we told him it can no longer be cancelled because the item was already shipped. As per the tracking number the customer refused the shipment and we received the item back on 6/**/2013 and we issued a credit to the customer’s master card on 6/**/2013. The refund amount was $126.11 that amount was $42.00 less then original charge and that amount covered the shipping to and from customer.

I don' think anyone communicates with one another at your company, much less the customer. Just last week, [redacted], e-mailed me about returning the sink?????

As of this date you have credited my card with an amount minus the (restocking fee), it certainly is not worth dealing with you about this further. And yes, I do have e-mail documentation, but the restocking fee would still be subtracted.

Your company is the only one I have ever filed a complaint against, perhaps you should inform your customers about restrictions and returns at the time of their order, instead of having to put them through something like this. Extremely poor, if you want to call that service.

We do apoligies that you did not know about our polciy on retruns, we did offer free shipping on the order and the restocking fee didnt even cover the shipping on this refused shippment. As far as the credit we issue your refund to your credit card the day after the item was returned to our warehouse.

Review: I ordered a product on Feb. * and received it broken. I started trying to get an RMA number on Feb. ** to return for credit. Returned it (shipped Mar. *) and they received it Mar. *. I never received a credit as of Mar. **. I left numerous messages with the Customer Service Dept. and never received a call back. I have been hung up on 4 or 5 times. I did talk to [redacted] and he acted like they didn't know anything about it. I have a tracking number and signature from them receiving it on Mar *.Desired Settlement: Get my money back. They should pay my shipping bill to send it back and interest on the money.

Review: On 11/*/14, I purchased a new Stainless Steel Blanco Crockery Basket from Decor Island for $136.40. Upon it's arrival it was damaged ( with no indication on the outside of the shipping container ) and it did not fit in our sink! I called Decor Island and talked to [redacted] in customer service who told me to take a picture of the basket and send it to her. I did and contacted her two weeks later. She told me to send the unit back to her and she would credit my account. She issued me a authorization no of [redacted] at that time . I shipped it back to her on 11/**/2014. Over the next two months I called several times and ended up having to leave a voice mail several times. On 1/**/15 I finally caught up with [redacted] who told me they received the item and that a check would be going out to me on 1/**/15!! I have yet to receive my money and I have called several times never connecting with [redacted] or the operator for Decor Island ( evidently they don't have one ).Desired Settlement: Return of my money in check/cash. I now have a different Credit Card
