7/13/2016 Hi [redacted] - Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent visit. In reading your review, I took some time to research your vehicle through the [redacted] Forums. This by no means corrects the issue, but adds clarity to understanding the problem in order to diagnose the issue....

I would like to apologize for your inconvenience, and would ask that you bring the vehicle back to our shop, as would like to remedy the issue for you. Your vehicle, a 2002 [redacted] came to our shop with a 152,496 miles. The protocol that was followed by our ASE technician, is what the dealer would run through to correct the issue. In reading the [redacted] forums, this a common Issue in both the [redacted]'s and **,s as it relates to the Aux Fan Controller. Our team stands by its work, and we would like to correct your issue. Please call Susan H[redacted] at ###-###-####.We would like to further discuss your visit, and most importantly, fix your vehicle. Thank you for bringing .this to our attention. February 14, 2017TO: Revdex.com of Washington DCFROM; [redacted]RE: [redacted] Customer Complaint (D [redacted]' car, a 2011 [redacted], was towed to our location on January 27, 2017 at 17:16 hours. The vehicle was not running properly when it...

arrived and required a diagnostic test to determine the cause. The customer was made aware of the cost, and approved the diagnostic,Our certified technician attempted to test drive the vehicle, as part of our diagnostic, but was unable to keep the vehicle running long enough to capture any data points. Upon closer inspection, our technician noted a fuel pressure and miss fire Coming from the right bank of the engine. The last plug was fouled, and in order for us to complete the diagnostic, we had to install new plugs. Our Service adviser spoke to the customer, who understood the issue, and asked that she remain in the loop or the outcome of the test,Our tech changed out the spark plugs, connected our lab scope, and determined the fuel pressure was too high. Upon further running, the engine began to get louder, then ultimately locked up. At this point, we attempted to remove the plugs, and manually attempt to crank the engine, to no avail, the engine was unresponsive, and recommended to be replaced. The time spent on this vehicle was in excess of 2.5 hours, which we normally bill at 124.00 per hour. The customer was charged for only one hour, and provided iridium plugs. The technicial is fully aware of how to replace and tighten plugs using special tools. The plugs were not damaged when the vehicle left the shop. Our business model focusses on delivering mechanical expertise for all makes and models of vehicles. We correctly ran the diagnostic and provided feedback to the customer. If the customer would like us to complete the work, we would be happy to assist in getting her vehicle back on the road.At this point, [redacted] takes the position that we provided the service as requested by the customer. The vehicle has been looked at by multiple mechanics, as referenced in her original complaint, at which point, the original plugs that we replaced could have been damaged during followup assessments,Attached is the invoice, which includes technician notes. The total amount billed was $209,46.
