Complaint[redacted] of DecorCrete Inc. has tried twice to do a stamped concrete overlay on our back porch and both times he left with the finished product having multiple problems. The second attempt he never checked with us before leaving the property and has failed to return any emails or phone calls to correct the issues.On his first try, his stamps weren't cleaned well enough and they transferred a completely different color on the floor than we contracted for. There were also many imperfections with the sealing consistency and many pock marks with cracks in the concrete. To his credit he addressed the problems by coming back and grinding down the concrete and reapplying the stamped overlay. The second try was great with the color and pock marks but this time he left us with a different set of flaws. After he pressure washed the porch he cut groves into the finished product. The dust from the release agent was sprayed all over the fans, windows, screens, ceiling and brick fascia, which he didn't attempt to clean up. After the concrete set up, and we could walk on the floor, we also noticed that the stamping process was not done properly. We could still see trowel marks where the stamp was not properly tamped or he waited too long before he stamped it. We are not willing to let him try a third time, but he is also not willing to return any of our phone calls or emails in order to rectify the problem. This time from a contractor that cares what the finished product looks like and stands behind their craftsmanship. We request that DecorCrete Inc. pay to have the job redone by another contractor.
