THEY CAN NOT BE TRUSTED! . My daughter brought in her VW for a "check engine light" - first they never even got to the car the first day - then they wanted to charge us for a part for $600 dollars - seemed high so we checked around - it retails for $328! Since the car was already in the shop we instructed them only to perform an oil change - instead they took upon themselves to perform additional work and handed my daughter a bill in excess of $200. DO NOT go to this shop!

I took my Ftruck in to be serviced due to the fact that the check engine light goes on in heavy moisture (rain/snow) driving Recently the engine light went on for no apparent reason and stayed on It was also indicated to Haglin that the truck seemed to be running heavy After two days of not receiving a call regarding what they may or may not have found, I called them only to find out that they sublet my vehicle to a dealership When I came to pick up my truck I asked why I was never informed of what was happening to my vehicle and being charged for services I NEVER consented to I was informed that they were having difficulty pulling the codes and that they weren't going to purchase any software so they could pull the codes I can't believe that I am the first Fthat they ever serviced in the years that they have been in operation They charged me over $300, for work that I was not aware of nor consented to, and told me that the only issue with my truck was that the computer board needed to be updated, even though Osensor codes were pulled, which they never checked I used to take all my vehicles here and would even highly recommend them, but not any more As their business grows their service is rapidly declining I have $punch cards valued at $and I can't give them away What does that say?!

I am a young woman that started first using Haglin for small fixes and updates, like oil changes, etc It seemed a little expensive, but they seemed nice so I didn't think anything about it The only strange thing that happened in those small repairs is that I once got a statement back requesting to "fix" the button that rolls my window up (they said it moved too slowly) for $ I told them that wasn't necessary, and there was no other problem BUT Problems really started when I started having bigger issues with my car
The first time, I took my car in twice reporting issues with the steering and a sound that didn't seem right Twice, they told me they'd fixed the problem or they could not duplicate the sound The second time I didn't make it out of the parking lot before I turned around and told them it wasn't right They had a mechanic take a ride with me, and sure enough, we didn't make it out of the parking lot before he was really concerned Finally they start working on the problem, and when I get it back the third time, I take it home, and the next day realize it's still not fixed Against my better judgement I took it back (and that's when it really started getting weird), and they finally seemed to have a fix for the problem but it seemed incredibly expensive, so I told them I was going to price around before they fixed it I hung up the phone, and about five minutes later I got a call back, saying they had mistyped the price and that it would be $cheaper than they'd originally offered I thought it was strange, but let it stand as an isolated incident I went ahead with the repair after this
Four months later, I took my car in for general repairs and upkeep before I took off on a cross country road trip They didn't get to my car for three days, and then reported back with a list of really strange repairs that just didn't sound right When they told me the price, I was once again taken aback by the price and again told them I'd price check around first Exactly like the time before, they called back about five minutes later, said they'd mistyped the price, and that it would be $cheaper than their original price This time I was really displeased with this response
If they had really mistyped the price once, then okay, I can forgive that, even understand it, but twice? And the difference of the two put me $different than the original prices? I don't think so I don't have money like that to throw around So, I immediately decided to take my business elsewhere I took it in to the dealership, and they didn't report any of the strange problems that Haglin had (even after I pressed them and had them check several things), and fixed more problems for $cheaper than the final price I had been offered at Haglin My car has worked perfectly since, and it's been four months
I want to believe that this place wasn't trying to take advantage of me because I seemed like a young woman without a lot of knowledge about my car, and I want to believe they wouldn't try to con people who weren't checking them out of their money, but that's really not the experience I came away with I would not recommend this place to anyone and would advise everyone to price check somewhere else before you went ahead with the rates they suggest
