[redacted] have not been overcharged for services provided. They were charged agreed upon fees for services.
We did indeed have a meeting at the request of the [redacted]. I did not say that I charge [redacted] prices. Dentistry in...

[redacted] is governed in [redacted].
I would maintain that all costs are not guaranteed by insurance companies and we need the company's response indicating their coverage in writing, before we know their financial obligation going forward.
As for discussion with [redacted], our [redacted], on May 2015, [redacted] came in for a treatment plan discussion with [redacted] and [redacted] regarding [redacted] treatment. The fees and treatment were not only discussed, they were given a copy of the treatment plan including fees. In December 2015, when [redacted] came in for treatment we had him sign a financial agreement stating the full cost but since they did not share their predetermination results with us, we could not inform them of their cost out of pocket. [redacted] mentioned a crown we looked into back in 2014 for her. [redacted] asked if she would like a predetermination sent, she said no, [redacted] just had work done and she knows her insurance. [redacted] sent a predetermination anyway, because sometimes insurance companies will not pay without a predetermination.
Fees outlined in [redacted]'s letter of complaint are taken from a standard [redacted] statement. The overcharge they refer to represents what I see as the difference between my fee and what [redacted] considers an eligible expense. All insurance contracts are between the insurer and the insured (patient), not between the dentist and patient.
All fees were discussed in advance and were paid in full. There is also no account owing to these patients. There seems to be a discontent about my ability to have a fee above the ** suggested fee guide for dental services. This is in fact allowed and done frequently in many dental offices.
Our records clearly indicate the course of events throughout the [redacted] treatment history. All fees and treatments, including treatment options, were consistently provided in advance prior to proceeding with treatment. Both patients are satisfied and happy with all dental treatments received.
