New Years Eve is our busiest night of the yearOver the past four years we've learnt that allowing our customers to make their reservations
on-line with a deposit prevents us from making mistakes such as a wrong address and holding them accountable for any no shows/last minute cancellations as our cars are on a strict schedule
We did in fact receive a phone call from our driver at 1:25am, on January 1st letting our dispatcher know the customer was in Morinville and not EdmontonDispatch immediately called the customer, with no responseThe drivers where told to move on to there next callminutes later the customer called in asking where their car wasDispatch explained what had happened and offered to send the next available car, which would of taken just over an hour to arriveCustomer declined and began becoming irate, demanding they receive there deposit back
Let me point out Dedicated Designated Drivers Incis an Edmonton based company therefore would of not of known the customer was in Morinville when the address is exactly the same in EdmontonThe on-line reservation that was made by the customer doesn't state they were in MorinvilleThere was also a follow up call to confirm the reservation
Dedicated Designated Drivers Incdid offer to refund the customers deposit that night when speaking with customer but it could take days to process as no one in the office returned to work until Tuesday January 5th, It is currently being worked on and will be refunded asap
I should also point out customer has a history of no showing our car and has made no contact with our company, besides this complaint with Revdex.com since the call on New Years Eve
