Wont be compensated for lost items
Horrible experience ! DONOT USE THIS MOVERS ! If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I would have done that.
Warning : If any of your items is lost during transit, you WILL NOT be compensated!

I had booked a move with Dedicated Van Lines for the end of July 2023.
On the day of move, they sent a third party movers called "R&M transportation for the move". In the transit, they lost my 300$+ bike. When R&M transportation delivered by stuff, they mentioned that it would have been misplaced the bike during the transit and they would try to relocate it as soon as they can and if they are not able to do that in a week, contact the movers and if needed please file a claim for it ! However after submitting the claim, R&M claimed that there was no missing bike and asked me to contact Dedicated Van lines for the missing item which I did.
It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation , but they hardly reply !

The last response from Ryan Gold from Dedicated Van lines on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them.

Once the move has been completed, they will not respond to any of your queries !

Also "R&M transportation" are not professional movers. On the day of the move, just 2 people initially showed up for the move and then they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professional at all ! During the move, one of those helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing the TV ! I was in total shock how can someone do that. Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged !

I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move ! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!

Professional and Courteous
I hired Dedicated Van Lines to move my family from Pembroke Pines, FL to San Diego , CA. I found them online and chose them bc of their length of years in business and they have a great reputation. They came in handled our furniture and packed everything for us . Everything went smoothly. My sake’s representative Erik Carver was professional and always available. He sort of over estimated the amount of boxes we would need so they made adjustments for us . All in all i’d recommend them to all my friends and family if they are ever doing an out-of-state move!

I'm happy to report (as promised) that the move went as expected and as planned. I moved long distance with them from Appleton Wisconsin to Marietta...They provided free mattress covers and tv boxes as well as 45 days free storage since my new place wasn't ready until mid January. I finally am all unpacked and settled in. This was my first long distance move and did not know what to expect. My representative at the company was Taylor and he was very informative and attentive to my needs (which were, I admit, overbearing at some points). But, in my defense, moving is stressful. Very Stressful. All in all I was satisfied with my experience and would recommend taking your time and researching your mover like I did so you don't end up with one of those movers that holds your stuff until you pay lots more money. Dedicated van line moving company didn't raise the price at all. My quote was $2,500 and with tip I ended up paying $2300.

Worst experience
Worst moving company! Lies after lies and anytime you try calling you get forwarded to one guy, Ryan. First our quote ended up a thousand bucks over and when they showed up to pick up our house they were three hours late and didn’t get done till almost 3 in the morning after the foreman wanted us to give him 500 bucks to not list as much on their paperwork. I had also asked Ryan after reading another review if they use their own trucks. He told me yes which was another lie. Some other company picked up our load and then a different one dropped it off after having our stuff for 20plus days. Our brand new refrigerator was covered in dents and we are still going through boxes that were clearly marked fragile that are shattered. Then we had cops show up to our house while their hired help was unloading the truck because one of them had stolen a cell phone and was tracked to our house. Just overall horrible experience and will never use this company again. There is a lot more but I would be on here for hours. If you would like to look up our order dedicated van lines, it will be under Michael or Eric and Miranda smith. Also can’t find a number for customer service to see about our 1,500.00 dollar refrigerator that was all dented up not including all of the old china that was broke when we got it. Ryan is a terrible broker by the way. No communication.

Trust is currency. Before any monetary transaction is made, you first have to establish trust with whom you are doing business. I can say with confidence Dedicated Van Lines' service is impeccable and trustworthy, and that's exactly what you want to find these days.
There are many customer reviews out there that serve as helpful guides when determining which business you choose. Please trust this review when I say that Ryan and his team at Dedicated Van Lines are the gold standard when it comes customer relations, accessibility, and truly embodying what's clearly stated in their name - "Dedicated". They were dedicated every step of the way, making sure that not only were our belongings cared for, but also our concerns. I know this much because after I used their services the first time, I chose them again only a month later.

Greatly appreciate the kind words Mr Illman, Glad we were able to make this move a success for you sir and are mainly grateful that our Dedication for a great move for each and every client was translated over to a successful move for you and your family.

We chose this company because of the good reviews, but was very disappointed. I wanted to make sure that nobody goes through the same experience as myself. Ryan, the representative, gave us reassurances of everything and gave a reasonable quote, so we trusted them to deliver on their services. However, the day of the agreed move, nobody showed up and later that day we got informed that the driver got into an accident. We understood that this was out of their control, so we were okay changing plans a little to accommodate this unfortunate event. We were promised a truck the next day, but the afternoon of that day, we got another call saying the previous move took longer than expected and they could only come either late at night (11PM and later) or early the next day morning. Due to our lease agreements and loading dock availability (we lived in an apartment where you needed to reserve the loading dock), we could not delay the move any further. It was also too late to book another moving company, so we ended up renting a UHaul and doing the entire move ourselves. I specifically booked a moving company to avoid doing this type of work! We were promised a quick refund of our deposit, but that also ended up taking a week (while we were promised a refund within 2 days). I'm sure it's not all their fault (you can't predict an unfortunate traffic accident), but their communication, timeliness, and expectation management was truly disappointing.

It is very shocking that I even need to be writing this email explaining what the issue was. As you stated, the driver was in an accident; you failed to mention it was a FATAL accident. Our company suffered a great loss that day and the pick up was unable to be completed. The refund was processed RIGHT away. It takes 4-7 business days for the funds to reach your account.
I am sorry you were left last minute. But a fatal accident wasnt something we had on the schedule to plan around. I hope you can see that your review is malicious in its intent due to this NOT being an error we could have avoided.

This company was extremely unprofessional from start to finish and gave me the worst customer service I have ever received in my life.

For starters, my mom and I were lied to on several occasions. We were told multiple times that my items would be delivered to me in AZ 7-12 days from PICKUP IN SC, which already seemed like a lot to me. But come to find out, it’s 7-12 days from when they FIND A TRUCK to pick my stuff up FROM THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN VIRGINIA!! So, I moved out to Arizona with almost nothing and had to live out here with almost nothing for an entire month. They gave us a discount for being lied to, but that was just the start of it! I CONSISTENTLY received no response and was LIED TO by several people in dispatch (I wish I had written down their names.) On Tuesday May 19, I was told by someone in dispatch that my items had been picked up and were in transit, but I never received another update. Finally, I called back on Friday May 29 to get an update. The first guy said "Hey ***! I'm finishing up another call. I'll call you right back." Never called back. So I called again hours later and was told that MY STUFF HADN'T BEEN PICKED UP! So I said to that guy, "So are you saying that the guy I spoke to a week and a half ago lied to me about my stuff being picked up just to brush me off?" So he told me he would have a supervisor call me back within the hour. Never called me back. I called the next day and found out that my stuff had just been picked up THAT DAY. Absolutely ridiculous.

Now that my stuff is here, my bigger items are beat to hell. The movers who brought my stuff were also rude and made me very uncomfortable. They DEMANDED the cash right away before beginning to unload, and one of them followed me to my kitchen and stood 6 inches away from me breathing down my neck while I counted the money. I actually was worried he was going to grab my money and run out the door. It was creepy. At the end, I was still planning to tip them, but they walked out of my apartment, and I assumed they were coming back because they left lots of trash behind and didn't say that they were leaving, but then they drove off.

We are very sorry to see that you were expecting your delivery faster than you received it. I also am sorry that you didnt get a call back. Unfortunately I do not have enough information to find the job in our system and can not see which client this is. Please send over your job number. Also, you are stating that we provided a discount for your troubles...but youre stating also that "nothing was done". Please let us know which is accurate so we can address your concerns.
