Review: On June 25, 2014, a contractor from [redacted], representing and working on behalf of Deem Heating and Air Conditioning came to our home to diagnose a problem with our air conditioning unit. The contractor gave the following diagnosis: on this system check indoor blower work well check outdoor unit works but after 5 minutes blower motor cut off and was reading 3.7 amp this unit need condenser motor and capacitor. 1/8 HP 1075 RPM CPN [redacted] also check freon levels. It is interesting that he would diagnose the problem as a capacitor in light of the fact that I purchased a supposedly brand new one from Deem days earlier. On July 15, 2014, an employee of Deem Heating and Air Conditioning came to our home to replace the condenser fan motor. According to the employee's invoice, he replaced bad condenser fan motor. Temps fine. Tried to reuse old blade. Unit vibrating badly. Had to go back and replace fan blade. Although you gave an estimate of approximately $400 for the job, Deem's final bill was $576.60. Although the air conditioning unit was working after the Deem employee serviced it, he left it in a shoddy condition. It was still making excessive noise. Wires were sticking out of the top of the unit. All of the screws holding the top of the unit in place were not put back in, and those that were put in were not tightly secured. I made these problems known to Deem, they ignored me.On or about August 10, 2014, the air conditioning unit stopped working again. The fan motor was running, but the unit was not blowing cold air. On August 11, 2014, I called Deem and spoke with the office manager, Jennifer. I explained the problem to her and asked her to send someone to look at the unit. She said to me, [redacted], you don't want our help. On August 14, 2014, I called again and left a message with Deem's answering service explaining the problem and asking for an employee to look at our unit. My call was ignored. Additionally, a Deem employee took the old motor without our permission.Desired Settlement: Since Deem caused over $2500 in damage to our air conditioning unit. I would like them to fix the damage their employee caused.
