This place is an absolute DUMP and to be honest , I'm sure "dump" is giving this place a compliment The people in the office lie to to you about their property/things they can do for you and they're rude as all get out They also always have an excuse for everything instead of just listening to what you have to say and fixing what needs fixed Their apartments are extremely damaged , they don't clean up after each tenant move out so you move in to someone else's mess , they have mold BEYOND belief but will never admit to it , they have ants that go for days even after they spray (the bug man said you won't have ants for months after I spray horse [redacted] they came back the next day) , their maintenance staff is just as unprofessional as the people in the office and it takes weeks to get MAJOR things fixed , nobody on that entire property (maintenance , managers , officer personnel , etc) ever communicate with one another , they won't compensate you for THEIR mistakes and so on There is just way too much to list in the things that have gone wrong while I've been here and I pray for anybody that has no choice , BUT to live in this [redacted] hole

This letter is in response to Complaint ID [redacted] *** I started with Deer Chase in late December I do apologize I have not received any written or verbal messages regarding this matter I have no prior knowledge regarding outstanding maintenance issuesAt the time of receipt of this notice the tub/shower has been resolved There are no outstanding requests for service by Miss *** On April 16th, not the 6th or 14th as stated by Miss ***, she called the office to speak to me regarding her ledger In February she was sent a late balance letter in which she was quoted the incorrect amount The total amount due was $ She was quoted $ These letters are not computer generated but handwritten from a list which includes many persons who have an unpaid balance with us I went back into her ledger and went over it with her over the phone She feels as if the mistake was ours, which it was, and we should forgive the difference I told her that we are human and mistakes do happen and apologized I told her that her rent is $850, garage is $55, late fee is $and a water billHer payment of $was not enough as we do not accept payments less than the balance owed Accepting her payment would be a violation of fair housing as this is a requirement that applies to all of the residents living here She says she works in accounting and feels that it is our responsibility to uphold the mistake I told her I do understand but again we do make mistakes and with the charges that she has reoccurring each month, did it not trigger a thought to call the office and inquire about the amount on the letter She said sometimes she over pays and thought maybe she had a credit This month she didn't call to get the balance but did admit to usually doing that I did again apologize but told her that I would not honor the amount listed on her letter She used the water and must pay for it In summary, all items reported to our office for service by Miss [redacted] have been cleared We will not refund the difference to Miss [redacted] for the usage of her utility bill This bill is generated monthly and sent to her residence We try to provide the best customer service to all of our residents and do apologize for the clerical mistake Best Regards, Tori [redacted] Property Manager Deer Chase Apartments 317-773-Office 317-773-Fax [redacted] @crestlinecommunities.com www.crestlinecommunities.com cc: Resident File Crestline Communities Offices
