Adan, thank you for sending me the informationI can see this will just go back and forth with he said she saidAs I stated to the customer (on yelp) the course has no evolvement in what happens in a situation like this other than helping to facilitate in the transfer of contact information (Phone number and DR license number which he continually refused to give to the home owner) standard operating *rocedure on any golf courseThe customer was giving a full refund for his green fees on the day he *layedI have also reached out to him on yelp and apo**gized for that day, and offered to make sure his next experience here would be much betterThank you for your help in this matter [redacted]

thank you for taking the time to hear my side of the storyThis customer Mr** did *lay golf at our course, but it was on the 20th of May not the 24thAt some *oint in the afternoon I received a *hone call at the *ro shop counter from an irate homeowner telling me that a golf
ball had just hit his fountain and then ricochet and hit his guestHe stated he lived on the second hole and the golfer was still on the tee boxI *roceeded to go out to the area and speak with the golferThe time it took me to get out to the hole was roughly mins, and I was surprised to still see a golfer on the tee box, I asked him if he had just hit a house and he said yes he might haveI told him the owner was waiting in his back yard and he would need to exchange information with himThis is where I made my mistake as I should have accompanied him to the house, but he said he would indeed talk to the ownerI returned to the *ro shop and as soon as I got back I got another *hone call from the homeowner saying that the golfer had driven straight by his house not stopped to talkWhen I reached the house the owner said that the golfer was actually two *eople and that they were driving cart #and he had thrown his son over the fence to chase them down by the green and ask them to come back to the house, at this time the son gave them the golf ball backI then *roceeded to go find these golfersI first ran into the single golfer, who told me that he had gone over to the right side of the fairway (the house that had been hit was on the left side) where he had hit his ball and found it, he had not hit a house as first thoughtI then went forward to the next hole and found Mr** *laying with his girlfriend and driving cart #I asked if he had hit a house on the *revious hole, to which he said no. I asked if a young boy had caught him, on the *revious hole and given him a golf ball, to which he said yes and indeed showed me the ballI then asked if he could return with me to the house and exchange information with the homeowner, to which he said yes but still saying he did not hit the houseWhen we returned back at the house the owner asked Mr** to exchange information, drivers license and *hone number, nothing else, very typical in these situationsMr** said he did not have his license with him and that it was in the car, he wanted to continue his round and would come back after to exchange the information, the home owner asked for some show of good faith, so Mr** left a golf club in the *ossession of the homeowner to assure him that he would be backI thought everything was handled so I headed back to the clubhouse and c**cked out and headed homeI was gone maybe mins when I realized I had left my *hone *lugged in at my desk so I returned to work to get itWhen I entered the *ro shop my assistant told me that Mr** had come back in and was asking for a full refund and now wanted some one to go out and retrieve his golf club from the homeownerMy assistant had already issued a full refund to Mr** so I offered to go back out to the house with him to get his club backWhen we arrived the home owner again asked Mr** for his information which he refused to giveMr** did indeed ask to see the injured *erson and the owner refused to bring her out saying it was his mother in law and she would be going to a doctor later to have her foot **oked atThis back and forth between the homeowner and Mr** went on for roughly mins, all the time I was telling Mr** that he was not accepting guilt at this time he was merely exchanging information, to which he replied I didn't do it and I wont give you my infoAfter about mins the owner said here is your driver I will just call the *oliceI told him that it would be a while before the *olice showed up so Mr** and I would go back and wait in the clubhouseWe returned to the clubhouse and I thanked Mr** for hanging around and offered him a beverage and a seat to wait until the *olice showed upThe *olice had not shown up within mins, so I once again asked Mr** for his driver license number to give to the homeowner, which he refused to giveI called the homeowner and asked how much **nger before the *olice would come see us, and he stated that that had not yet even arrived thereAt this time I told Mr** he might as well just leave and when and if the *olice came I could give them his *hone number and license *late number off of his car so they could contact him at a later dateAt no time during any conversation with any of the *eople evolved was there any attempt to get money from Mr**All that was asked for was an exchange of *ersonal information between both *arties to be able to contact each other at a later date (standard *rocedure)I have heard nothing from the home owner or the *olice on this matterThe golf course would have no responsibility for *aying for damages in these matters, it is always an issue between the golfer and the homeowner, we only help when asked for, to facilitate the transfer of information between the two *artiesAgain thank you for your time and attention to this matterIf you could, *lease keep me informed on the outcome of your inquiry

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The information was incorrect, "I asked if a young boy had caught him, on the *revious hole and given him a golf ball, to which he said yes and indeed showed me the ball." As I addressed to *** *I had never seen a young boy who gave me a golf ball and I addressed that to *** * and the homeowner over and over again. Sincerely,*** **
