In regards to the [redacted] case, we take our patient’s complaints and concerns very seriously. The Financial Policy implemented in each office is given to our patients, which further underlines the expectations of the patients in regards to account balances. This...
policy was signed by [redacted], consenting that he read, understood, an agreed to the policy. As a courtesy to our patients, our team members provide treatment plans for every patient regarding treatment to be done, as well as the fees for those procedures. When insurance is involved, we provide our patients with an estimate of what their insurance benefitwill cover for each procedure. We strive to get the most accurate information from the insurance company; however it is merely an estimate.At [redacted] appointment on 2/4/14 we did provide a treatment plan that showed his estimated patient portion for his treatment. Unfortunately upon receiving payment from the insurance carrier, they did not pay as we had anticipated. This resulted in an additional $87.80 balance for the patient.We apologize for any confusion on the patient’s account. Sincerely,[redacted]Client Administrator

For a medical office to provide such an unprofessional, medically inappropriate response to a patient is abhorrent. I hope that other patients see my account and their lack of a caring response and understand that this office should not be in business.
When the business even provided me a copy of my file, there is a letter in there from Dr. [redacted] stating that I would need to return to her office immediately for a root canal if Dr. [redacted] accidentally opened my pulp during his restoration process. Based on that information, he should have already been aware that his actions on my teeth were ill-advised.
